Daily Devotions:
by Christina Farris

Jeremiah 31:22-40 KJV
22 How long wilt thou go about, O thou backsliding daughter? for the LORD hath created a new thing in the earth, A woman shall compass a man.
23 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; As yet they shall use this speech in the land of Judah and in the cities thereof, when I shall bring again their captivity; The LORD bless thee, O habitation of justice, and mountain of holiness.
24 And there shall dwell in Judah itself, and in all the cities thereof together, husbandmen, and they that go forth with flocks.
25 For I have satiated the weary soul, and I have replenished every sorrowful soul.
26 Upon this I awaked, and beheld; and my sleep was sweet unto me.
27 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will sow the house of Israel and the house of Judah with the seed of man, and with the seed of beast.
28 And it shall come to pass, that like as I have watched over them, to pluck up, and to break down, and to throw down, and to destroy, and to afflict; so will I watch over them, to build, and to plant, saith the LORD.
29 In those days they shall say no more, The fathers have eaten a sour grape, and the children's teeth are set on edge.
30 But every one shall die for his own iniquity: every man that eateth the sour grape, his teeth shall be set on edge.
31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:
32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD:
33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.
34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.
35 Thus saith the LORD, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The LORD of hosts is his name:
36 If those ordinances depart from before me, saith the LORD, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever.
37 Thus saith the LORD; If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, saith the LORD.
38 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that the city shall be built to the LORD from the tower of Hananeel unto the gate of the corner.
39 And the measuring line shall yet go forth over against it upon the hill Gareb, and shall compass about to Goath.
40 And the whole valley of the dead bodies, and of the ashes, and all the fields unto the brook of Kidron, unto the corner of the horse gate toward the east, shall be holy unto the LORD; it shall not be plucked up, nor thrown down any more for ever.

Time and time again we see God raising up his word and his power through and by His Spirit. It does not change and it will not change. God word must come to be and will come to pass. God promised a woman would encompass a man. He was speaking to the sinful daughters of Judah. Why is Judah so important in scripture they are the lawgivers. The line of Judah is the kingly line. First woman came from the rib of a man and that rib became a woman and been a thorn in Adam's side from day one, and no one knows how long that pain in his side last, but woman was given the chore of giving birth to life. Did Adam complain perhaps. However Eve would encompass a man by conception nothing knew there. However the first man created which was adam was a living soul and second man was the Lord from heaven and a quicken Spirit, his name is Jesus.

In Jeremiah day Israel was a rebelous people, yet not a people without hope. Judah and Israel was going into exile, but not without the hope of redemption from God through his Son born and encompassed by woman. After the time of Christ would come and that the Holy Spirit would write the laws of God on the heart of man that beleived and Israel would cease only if they broke the laws written by the Holy Spirit. The time of Christ would be the beginning of Judah and Israel salvation and the Holy Spirit promised to the believer would come. Now Christ being created by the Holy Spirit but was encompassed by a virgin woman. A woman of purity and woman not a harlot of Judah, but of the royal line of Judah, and the priesthood, a woman of purity.

This is all important to understanding I Corinthians 15 in regards to both our own mortality without God and our immortality as a believer in Christ and God the Father. If we can understand that a change will take place as the same of a man being encompassed inside a virgin daughter that was the Lord from heaven. The impossible coming to pass. Part of believing in spiritual rebirth in the since of our Spirits going to be with God must come to either a point of belief in God and hsi word is true. Not only spiritual rebirth into the hear after and right now upon the day of salvation for each soul that receive Christ, but the physical body being resurrected and given the ability to be incorruptible. Incorruptible meaning the faith that we to will rise again as Christ rose again, not necessarily on the third day of our death but at the time of the physical resurrection of our bodies that will meet Christ in the sky. Our Spirit upon death is with the Lord and our bodies will be eternity with the Lord one day. To be compassed by God's Spirit is to be in the presense of the Lord in heaven and New Jerusalem. A new birth that begins upon belief in Christ and Christ coming and dwelling in our hearts spiritually upon belief when receive Him as Lord and Savior. A time of being fully under the leading of God's Spirit.

The teaching is not new, but no where really do you see the whole spiritual concept in one place in scripture as Christ taught and after the resurrection of Jesus as Paul taught about it. It something that one must dig for to understand that eternal hope is not just on earth of eternal salvation, but continual hope with the resurrection of Christ return. Being fully encompassed by God's presence and fully walking by God's word by the Holy Spirit on earth and in heaven. Get use to it my friend, God is not done with those that believe. He fixing to light a fire storm under there feet that devil can not penetrate.

Dear Heavenly Father, give us that eternal hope upon belief as your Spirit dwells in our hearts upon salvation through belief in Jesus. Give us the hope of glory what it will one day be like there, walking and moving by your Spirit. Light our path, and set the world on fire by your Spirit to see the truth of your word. In Jesus precious name, Amen.

Continual Scripture Study: Continual Scripture Study: 1 Corinthians 15:45-58 KJV
45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
46 Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.
47 The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.
48 As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.
49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.
50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

Revelation 10:1-11 KJV
1 And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire:
2 And he had in his hand a little book open: and he set his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot on the earth,
3 And cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roareth: and when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices.
4 And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not.
5 And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven,
6 And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer:
7 But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.
8 And the voice which I heard from heaven spake unto me again, and said, Go and take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel which standeth upon the sea and upon the earth.
9 And I went unto the angel, and said unto him, Give me the little book. And he said unto me, Take it, and eat it up; and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey.
10 And I took the little book out of the angel's hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter.
11 And he said unto me, Thou must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings.
