No More Condemnation
6/06/2020

Daily Devotions:
by Christina Farris

Romans 8:1-6 KJV
1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

If you watch on social media and see comments you learn there is all kinds of responses to people post, some in condemnation, others in suggestful help done in peace and also will wishes. Yet what is condemnation when it comes to faith. No one is condemned with they have faith in Christ Jesus and walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit. There all kinds of devils out there. I think of how many times Christ rebuke the devil who appeared peaceful for a second only to want to rail in another second. I think of how Christ gentlely rebuke and even cast some demons out into the pigs, and cast others out of the temple. Delivering others from tossing their victims into fire. Yet Christ taught in peace, with hope, knowledge and wisdom of who he was as Son of God and Lord of all. Yet he called tenderly to the children, healed the lame, healed the blind, and healed the sinner. He was constantly under attack by the religious leaders and lawyers, but with strong teaching they always walked away with vengeance in their heart. The heart not being right with God and their greed and desire to keep their job was more important then how they treated Jesus.

There is no condemnation for those that walk after the Spirit. Yet is there condemnation in the world on believers? Of course everyone has opinion about everything. The condemnation that is spoken by Paul in Romans 8 has to do with faith, and sin after faith. If we walk after the spirit, we following after Christ, then God does not have any condemnation toward us. Who has no condemnation? God. God condemns us not if we walk after the spirit of Christ, we follow in his footsteps.

This crime of abuse of black man being choked to death is a hedious crime in broad daylight caught on camera and seen by the world, and yet It not about black man only but all police brutality in our world. If we label as being only one race we fail to realize it happening in many places to many people with no color boundaries. It matters not if the person was doing right or not, the crime still happened. The issue is not about a fake 20 dollar bill, it the fact he was punished as a criminal without knowing if he realize he did a crime or not. Many people are falsely accused, if he realized the problem would he have fixed it. Now the store owner says they never let this happen again, they solve the issue themselves next time if they can.

The police did not obey the laws the govern their actions, nor did any other officer try to prevent the attack. That is abuse but it not race issue it happens to others as well. This is my point when the law is not follow even way up to the president office then the people of law become an a group to themselves and become a powerful group without recourse, yet with people speaking out the law has to be applied. Protest and speak out but do it by the law. Stand up and speak out in truth.

When we go to God the Father, we go to prayer with the Bible. When the devil attacks Christ defends us, because we are his children. There is no condemnation has a child of God. However God says something we must walk after the Spirit. What does that mean if we not walking in obedience to him, we are now condemn, not above correction. God corrects his children that are not following after the Spirit. He corrected Israel as a nation, He correct Solomon and David when they were kings, and even correct demons that knew who he was. All because they were not in compliance of following after the Spirit. They had a rebellious spirit that walked after the flesh. The only difference between David and demons of hell, were who they followed in general. David choose God over evil and chose to walk after the Spirit though in the flesh he fail some. His chose made at the heart of man.

Today you have a choice first to make sure you are saved for there is no condemnation to those that have placed their hope and belief in Christ and then to follow after the Spirit and to obey the laws of God. If we believe as the devil we are condemn already, he acknowledge God but walks in disobedience in all his ways. Devil has no love for God. The point being we choose who we serve God and Christ by following after the ways of God by the instruction of the Holy Spirit, or the ways of man and the devil. The choice is yours, choose wisely today.

Dear Heavenly Father thank you that there is no condemnation for us that are in Christ Jesus as long as we follow your Spirit. Help us to comply to your will and not our own, for you know what best for us. In Jesus precious name, Amen.

Continual Scripture Study: John 3:17-21 KJV
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
