I have writen on Christ's humanity maybe a little to long that his position needs even more clarifying to establish his Lordship. Those that know Hebrew and Greek word for God is Elohim in Hebrew and Theos in the greek know that these words speak of more the one in regards of being one in three persons. Those that only read the scripture would perhaps not know this beyond scripture that speaks of God's equality with his Son and the Holy Spirit. One might be confused as position of each in the God head as far as one being superior to the other. In one since God the Father is superior to His Word/Son and yet that position is given of superiority to His Son. His Spirit is thus as equal with superiority, then you see the Father being servant to the Son in regards to position and also His Spirit. Round and round we go til our minds feel like scrambled eggs. Not sure if we can put a handle on the Trinity until we stop and examine what is said, and knowledge of our own position in heaven as joint heirs with Jesus, yet never God and never Jesus. Who Jesus is and why we call him Lord matters for every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father.

God explained this perhaps best with example of those being bitten by the serpent in the wilderness and Moses praying and seeking God on what to do, when God told Moses to erect a pole with a serpent on it and anyone looking to the serpent would be healed. God did not say sit in ashes and pray to him, he made idol that the people could see and would be healed. In fact this in a sense represent Moses(Hebrews 3). position to the people. The people would cry in the wilderness to Moses and not God and they would be delivered. It like giving a baby a binky/pacifer when it not time to eat or just to calm them down for a moment. It not necessary but it helps everyone else stay sane that around a screaming crying baby. God is saying this man can not feed your, heal you, but I God am your healer, your pacifer, and your provider. God declares he will himself establish an everlasting High Priest, and someone the gentiles will look to as well.(Isaiah 11:10). God is willing to give an everlasting high Priest who will be established where in heaven, but he was already here, and it was God's word.

Christ's God's Holy Word planned from the beginning of time to be established to be revered/worshipped by man and worshipped by man when that word that became flesh and dwelt among us as the Son of God named Jesus. (John 1:1-14). This is alot of scripture to deal with. Moses own word, and Moses himself was not Jesus. God expect man to take his word, believe it and obey it. He established Jesus to be that serpent for us so that we could see him, to revere him, and not worship those that could do nothing by their own power, despite miracles seen and provisions provided.

If we look at people in the world today that our hungry, one establishes a soup kitchen, it truly is a hand extended, but that soup kitchen is not God. Soup kitches even come and go and new ones need establishing to feed the hungry. Churches need to continue to be that hand extended in the work and ministry of the church. It matters not who does the work, on earth non of us is God and neither is any of our work perfected, but God's work through Christ is perfected for our benefit because Christ is perfect in his reverence to God the Father, who he is equal and had equal power, and equality as the Son of God though he fashion himself as a servant in human form starting from birth to thirty three of age, before taking ont he cross and dying for all humanity and anyone that would call on his name would be saved, to glory of God the Father.

God gave his Son a name that would be above every name in heaven and in earth. The position given by God the Father. So when you worship Jesus as Lord you are in sin as those that understand not Christ position or why God established him because man would put people like Moses in godlike position instead of him. This is a lot of scripture but today is Sunday and a time to meditate on the word of God and to worship Christ as Lord to glory of God the Father. You pray directly to God the Father you are following Christ footsteps and to Christ you are doing in honor of God placing Christ in position as Lord. For we bow to cross of Jesus for the work he did there on the cross and not to worship the cross itself as two wooden beams. Hope this helps, because what we do not want is the idea of idolatry to slip into place or to think Jesus is replacement to God the Father, but part of God the Father as both his Word and Son who sits at the right hand of God the Father.

Dear Heavenly Father, as worship Christ as Lord today help those with confusion of Christ position because of religions that try and claim Christ is less and yet claim to know you. Lord help us to rest in the knowledge that Christ is Lord, because you placed him there so we would be drawn to him because of your will to be done on earth as it is in heaven. Meaning your word to be established on earth to the people as in heaven. In Jesus precious name, Amen.
