11 These things command and teach.
12 Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.
13 Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine.
14 Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery.
15 Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all.
16 Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee. When I think of the school yard of learning, most would say some things are created by our kids as far language. They pick up a new lingo either heard elsewhere and repeated or created in search to define something new to them they are doing. There nothing wrong with creating new language or word to describe something, even to change the meaning if it understood to those the speaker speaking too, otherwise the word looses meaning. Kids often understand simplicity of a problem even when the problem is more complicated then the simplicity. They can reason what they understand, and so making it to fit their understanding of the problem. When God's word says do not let no man despise thy youth, realize he talking to even older generation too. Old generation can say just because a person is young and does not understand it all yet, does not mean he can not teach what he understand, practice what he understand and demonstrate what he understands concerning faith.
A child will lead them scripture says, but do we fully understand the principals of child leading, of the innocents of faith, and not the mature faith that seen the struggles, hardships, blessing, and even judgments of God. It is the child like faith that teaches something of the innocents of belief, that still searching for the evidence of faith in a more person way as far as dealing with the storms of life, the mountain roads of life, and even the valleys in life. It is these things often youth are not as experienced, but the safety net of parents is often the spare tire in the road, not fully understanding when they are on their own the road only spare tire is Jesus, and the only safety net is Jesus. No longer the evidence of child like faith of adult world fixing all the issues that arise, but the hazard roads that can lay snares and traps along life way is roads to be avoid to enjoy smooth sailing, along with dealing with situations has they approach. Child like faith teaches us that impossible can happen, and child like faith teaches where faith begin even in our own life. Child like faith helps teach us to trust in God a little more readily. Child like faith teaches we are all God's children.
This message is to the old, don't look down on that child because he doesn't seem so important, God is calling, teaching and enabling a child to have faith, that will teach you something as well, if you listen to God and his word and not be concerning about that child's age as much. Teach our children about faith is more important to passing it down.
Dear Heavenly Father help us to learn to look at the youth as the leaders of tomorrow but also leaders of today in faith and setting good examples for all, because of their love and worship of you. in Jesus precious name, Amen.

7 And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.
8 And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice' den.
9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.
