The Time Of Christ: The Hour Unknown

Daily Devotions: by Christina Farris

Matthew 24:37-42 KJV
(37) But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
(38) For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
(39) And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
(40) Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
(41) Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
(42) Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

No one knows the hour a baby will be born. Despite the fact doctors are doing more caserne deliveries every year, they still can not predict the moment the infant will breath his first breath of fresh air. All a doctor and his staff can do is set a time when hopefully things should possibly arrive. Yet even with precision of procedures there are no guarantee. With death there is no exact prediction when someone will leave this world, only one can be is ready for their time of departure towards heavens pearly gates. Because you can not take anyone through the gates of heaven with you, you must leave this world behind to face God alone with Christ interceding at the throne.

The hour of departure is unclear but you will be leaving someone behind, love one or not the world will be hear until the final judgment comes. Are you ready to go homeward bound, or are you going through the gates of hell. Whatever you are prepared for remember it been your choice and no one could make it for you. You choose heaven or hell in this life time. Make yourself ready for when the doors of death swing wide you will still be the only one going through your particular door. You can drag anyone with you. Your time your hour is the hour God has chosen for you. Live life to the fullest, worshipping the Lord, do the things God ask and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ most of all and you will be saved from the fiery flames called hell.

Dear Heavenly Father death and life is uncharted event from the first breath to the last, but the choice between first breath and death is our to decide to serve and to follow you. As we follow you Lord, guide our footsteps in the path of righteous through Christ Jesus. In Jesus precious name, Amen.
