Luke 11:27-36 KJV
(27) And it came to pass, as he spake these things, a certain woman of the company lifted up her voice, and said unto him, Blessed is the womb that bare thee, and the paps which thou hast sucked.
(28) But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it.
(29) And when the people were gathered thick together, he began to say, This is an evil generation: they seek a sign; and there shall no sign be given it, but the sign of Jonas the prophet.
(30) For as Jonas was a sign unto the Ninevites, so shall also the Son of man be to this generation.
(31) The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with the men of this generation, and condemn them: for she came from the utmost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater than Solomon is here.
(32) The men of Nineve shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for they repented at the preaching of Jonas; and, behold, a greater than Jonas is here.
(33) No man, when he hath lighted a candle, putteth it in a secret place, neither under a bushel, but on a candlestick, that they which come in may see the light.
(34) The light of the body is the eye: therefore when thine eye is single, thy whole body also is full of light; but when thine eye is evil, thy body also is full of darkness.
(35) Take heed therefore that the light which is in thee be not darkness.
(36) If thy whole body therefore be full of light, having no part dark, the whole shall be full of light, as when the bright shining of a candle doth give thee light.

I set and wonder this morning about Noah Ark and if the people knew of its location as we do today in the since of where God’s word declares it to be. Jerusalem’s ark is much like a reminder of the original ark. Yet we look at the ark and believe God is in the Ark of the Covenant. A covenant of laws created for man to understand and not break. Yet the covenant of laws were impossible for man to abide by. No one obeyed God, just like in the days of Noah. Two lights that exist and it is the word of God and the Spirit of God. These two lights are one with the Father for they come from the Father of all. Noah moved by God’s Word and Spirit to build ark. Moses people lead by Moses by the Word and Spirit of God. Jonah a preacher of righteousness found a fish in the storm of repentance as protection. Did he understand God’s protection after being vomited up on the shore like Noah landing and coming out of the sea onto dry land? Did the reality of God’s provision of ark by the mouth and stomach of a great fish, enough for Jonah to tell his story and preach salvation to all that believed.

One cannot hide the light of God on the hill in Jerusalem, or under a bush, but it must spread. Something to note about the light of God, as Israel traveled to the promise land people heard far and wide the power of Israel God. Can God be hide, can the light of Christ, and can the word of God be hide? Can the Holy Spirit of promise to the believer be hide, when the word God goes forth?

If God is moving in your life do not hide it, but shine for Jesus. For His light is hide in your heart to shine forth by His Spirit. There will be those that will hear like the city of Nineveh and then there be some that will hear and not listen. Yet the things of God are worth hearing. Be moved by God’s Spirit and His Word that shines in all believers’ hearts.

Dear Heavenly Father may your light shine forth from our hearts so others can see who you be. In Jesus precious name, Amen.
