When talking about visions, prophesy and so forth we can not leave out the chapter on love. Chariety in the Greek means brotherly love. If want to go a step further we can say Christ love, for he is our brother in the since of being first born of God's kingdom from the dead. The first to rise from the dead under the new covenant that God made with man.(Hebrews 10 for more details on the Covenant). If we prophesy in part looking at verse 9 of I Corinthians 13 we can understand we only have a part of the story of God and the story of who God is. Christ testimony is recorded to testify who God is as the Son of God and being part of God and fully God. The fact we can seperate God into parts is only speaking of the body or Godhead of God. For this reason we look at prophesy, visions and dreams as only part of the puzzle picture on the scroll of life. There are times when prophecy and knowledge of God fades in society only to spring anew, but whether there are many believers or only a few brotherly love need to be taught. That brings us back to verse 1 of today's begin scripture text in the KIng James Bible(KJV) A version of the Bible taken from original Hebrew and Greek Manuscripts.

If I talk about Jesus and love what I see through the Gospel is Christ putting love into action, not just love through teaching and instructing and communicating with people, but through his act of love through healing, through feeding of the five thousand, through enable his disciples to catch fish, obeying his mother by provision and miracle of wine for a wedding, He showed compassion for the people and also revealed prophesy of the future that it would not change the rise and fall, and rumors of war. Without his compassion we fail at sharing prophesy with others. Then we look at the story of Joseph who shared his dreams and prophesy with his brothers, his mother and his father.(found in Genesis 37) Yet Joseph had compassion and obedience to his family. Yet his dream would cost him his family love for him for a season.

The writer Paul in I Corinthians says you can give and not love, but without love you still have what, nothing. Without love you might as well cease to prophesy. If you think with all the love Christ had when he began to prophesy and people listened, it began the time period of opposition. This is the reason why many church probably do not prophecy but it still exist in the church world. We must be quick to learn the difference between a warning from God and trickery from man. Man will play all kinds of games. Don't think women don't as well. Here is the point when trickery leads to death or a crusade of death then God is probably not in it. There many that desire to cause fear to control others. If they produce fear we need to be more concern with why? If a person can stir a crowd into fear he can stir them into mass suicide. If a man can stir a crowd to join his team of compassion, why is he a threat, something else must be going on behind the scenes? Does it involve leadership in Christ leadership, no never should. Christ spoke prophesy, taught love and even prophesied the betrayal. Had Judas Iscariot not heard the religious murmuring more then once against Jesus. A true Israelite would of been listening and searching for errors of truth. Yet could Judas find any not until he began perhaps to declare who He was to his disciples. As Christ told of his lordship and relationship to God the Father it would of caused a stir. What makes a good leader is love and the ability to encourage others to love with compassion. Love is not about money but reaching out to others in time of need and at times for no reason at all.

Works without compassion is dead, Christ had compassion, teaching, hope and faith. Yet the world rejected it. People are money hungry and most people will almost do anything for the right price. No one works for the government for free, there will be benefits to Presidents Trumps trade agreements to his family business. Yet is this illegal of course not, or is it. We can not be self serving in the government, how does our government avoid it, give it to everyone the same. Jesus was loving everyone and caring about everyone, but his words to the pharisees often seemed like hate because it was corrective criticism that did not accept. Hardest thing about leadership is accepting good critism as well as giving corrective critism. Marry couples learn to help each other by their honesty with each other. Sometimes it only take a tone of voice that tells the true meaning of one's word, and sometimes that is not true, because irritation does not mean words spoken was a lie or truth. That why men if you tell your wife her dress is ugly I sure she will not appreciate it. Ladies if you tell you men they look like a slob, they go out of their way to look more like a slob.

Jesus lived in the business world as a carpenter and also spent time in the temple teaching, he knew both worlds and their way of correction and revenge. He knew the Pharisees would seek revenge on his very life. Because Jesus prophecizes to being able to raise the temple in three days what do you think the Pharisees might of understood. Yet they needed a reason to crucify him, and it came with those talks concerning Christ equality with God. It is the equality Jesus declared that gives people a problem, because in our wanting to be like Christ are we Christ the answer is no. We can pray for people, give a helping hand and teach people what we know about God and that is it. Everything must come from God the Father to the believer first and then the world. If share love with God then we miss that verse in I John that says God is love. God is more then love or chariety is a being of love and judgment. One to fear and one to love. Yet if we dwell only on his judgment we fail to see love. If we only see his love we fail to know God does correct his people. Why does prophecy cease when reality of what true prophecy is about. Abraham prophecied to his children about their own exile that would take place in 400 years why, because God spoke those words to him. He knew they were true by the time he had a son. With that prophesy came fear of God as God lead his people out of Egypt. All that beleive have a fear of God, because of prophecy. It easy to come to Christ through love then prophecy. And with Christ death and resurrection came fear upon the people that received him because of prophecy of his own resurrection.

In the New Testament letters you see much concerning laws and love but not alot about prophecy concerning end times. Not much on Christ return, but I sure that is spoken in most books in some way. The church might cease from prophecy but the main prophecy important to the believer and that is the return of Christ and his coming. Prophesy might be taught from history, but do we teach about modern day prophesy? People are afraid to follow anyone prophesying, why because their many false prophets and to follow a prophet is to examine his prophecy that maybe a time off. Only prophet needs to be followed is God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. I am talking about foretelling here. Where there is prophecy ask God to speak to your heart concerning what is heard so you know truth of the matter. The most important thing is love faith and hope, and prophecy can bring hope but it also brings destruction if God's instruction is not applied. We learn to have love faith, and hope, we no longer have to worry about what lays ahead, because faith, love and hope covers obstacles, helps in time of need, and gives encouragement in troublesome time and continues to give faith in times of peace.

Prophecy can fail, how does it fail, let us talk about Jonah who prophecied destruction and the city repented and no destruction came. Sometimes the effects of disobedience needs to be made known to bring people to submission to living God's way. Then other times it takes the wrath of God to straighten people out. God is long suffering, until evil reaches a point of destruction. To prophecy in the form of teaching about scripture is to tell about the lewdnes of society through out the Bible is only to speak truth that society is in the need of God and society has not changed in what they do in thousand of years and wont' tell the end of time as we know it. To live spiritual in prophecy in regards to telling the story of love, hope and faith is where many church dwell and not in the prophetic world that can lead to devils trying to make prophecy happen on their own.

Dear Heavenly Father let us as believer in Christ, your church dwell only in the prophecy of love, faith and hope remembering love is the most important, because without love the ability to forgive is impossible. In Jesus precious name, Amen.
