As we enter the most romantic time of the year let us not forget who loved us first. God loved us first and sent his Son to be the Savior of the world. God sent his word to give us hope in a dying world. No one in truth wants to live in a world of destruction forever. Without hope of eternal life in heaven what hope is there. To live in a place of paradise seems almost impossible. Yet with God’s Spirit we are able to walk in the perfection of Christ, yet our human nature is the very thing we war against. The desire to do things our way. To even look for away to mend the relationship with God ourselves through things we do. In truth people often look for ways to mend a fence in a broken relationship, yet in truth gifts of love only speak volumes of the one that loves us all the time. The gift of God’s love is about that unconditional grace that despite our faults he sees the price paid for our sin. He sees the gift of His Son, to enable us to believe in Him.

Unconditional love can not be bought, it is something freely given by the Creator and by those who except you for who you are. Love is does not require change. Yet requires obeying for the purpose of protection. When we turn from sin or evil, we are turning to the protection of doing things God’s way and not our own or others that wish us harm. Love of God condition of obedience is only expression of who child one truly is. To receive God’s love is to receive his instruction of protection. Many people have received God’s instruction without ever loving God back. Obedience is a sign of our love for God, but even the heathens obey God. It is our belief that tells God I love you. It is not what can be seen always by human measuring stick but a place only God can see and that is inside our hearts. Do you believe God loves you, then you are in the beginning stage of your relationship with God. Because to receive someone that loves you is positive unless it is of a psycho maniac.

Dear Heavenly Father help us to receive your love for us and help our unbelief, so we can express ou love back. In Jesus precious name, Amen.
