In verse 15 of the passage above a dog is mention along with sorcerers, whoremongers, murders, idolaters, liars as being outside the city of God. Now all you have much beloved pets, the scripture is not talking about house pet dog, or the dog that helps care of the other animals of a farmer, or what some would call working dogs. This is really a term of dog being one of the wild dogs that tear apart prey with no regard for their victims or sacredness of even the dead, for they even dig up the bones of shallow grave. Now most would agreed dogs have a vivious nature to them at times. I have pet cat that has an aggresive nature that uncanny for a house cat, but most of time you never see that side of him unless provoked. The point is one has to look at the others terms use to understand this one verse is talking about some type of evil predator that means harm to God's people. Something not welcome in God's kingdom.

Devil can enter a church but he will not stay. A devil unleash his fury, but will not remain, why because he is outcast of God kingdom. Yet the person can be delivered by God, but the evil spirit can not remain. There are days when evil people seem all around even stocker of one's own freedom with technology of our land that either by phone, camera's listening devices and so forth. Individual families thinking they have a right to act like big brother when all they do is cause more harm then good. Those type of people are not welcome in the home of the person they harm, betray, or stock.

When I think of entering heavens gate, I think of all these fruit trees in revelation that are not only healing of individual but the healing of a nation. How can one show the fruit on these trees on earth that God is providing. Chapter 22 in Revelations is speaking of new heaven and new earth. Speaking of time of healing for the children of God, both national and internationally. This fruit is love, hope, gentleness, longsuffering, and so forth, it is the fruit of the vine, the fruit of the tree, and fruit of the Holy Spirit. We see many names for the fruit of God that is produced also in God's children, and in garden/kingdom of God. The trees of the Holy City of God. We are taught to love and forgive and yet how far do we take the word love. For letters it can be stretch pretty far. For God forgives many things until it comes to persecution of the saints, the church, his kingdom and his ways. Paul found himself persecuted where he persecuted the church, yet Paul also found God's grace. He also found the fruit of the Spirit and the hope of faith that encompassed him. Apostle John writes the book of Revelation as told for him to by angel. We can not imagine what was for John to see the kingdom of heaven, with a river of life flowing through it and fruit trees on every side of that river, but we know that John fell down to worship the angel that showed him the vision and he was told not worship him, for he too was a servant of God. Heaven is suppose to be not only a place to stand in the presence of God but for healing of all people.

As long as people understand not about the kingdom and the healing power of the kingdom, when it comes to obeying God, they will never understand the fruit within the kingdom that show love and mercy, when we repent. Did Paul find mercy from God in his travels, apparently so, but not mercy always from people, or love and compassion from people, when he shared the love of God. Those with faith have right to enter the kingdom, to have access to the tree of life, but to those that are in disobedience to God have no right to the blessings of God. We can consider sometimes God blesses people unworthy of his blessings, to demostrate his love to them. Yet they still deny God and his power in their life. God rescues and God forgives when we repent, but day is coming only God's people will receive healing.

Healing comes with the word of God, the living water of life which is the word of God and his Christ, the life flowing water that quenches the thirst of all that believe and obey His word. All that will come to saving grace of faith in Christ Jesus is welcome, all that will come to know Jesus as redeemer and Lord, for his the offspring of David and he is the Son of God by the power of the Holy Spirit. Only one that has the power to created and bring to light his word through demonstrating his love for mankind. His continual love exist, even in times of exile and times of triumph. We got to get down to the knowledge of spirituality is not always a physical attribute or outward show it is about faith and only worship God and adultry by idolatry. We got to understanding spirituality or faith in God is just simply that believing in God and believing he provided a Savior for the world, called the promises of his word and Jesus coming in flesh. Hold God to his promise. This one book and one chapter sums up the call of believers, the hope believer, and healing of God to his people. Is God your persecutor or is the people? It not God persecuting his people, it is the enemy and God continues to heal them through his power and grace. Christ will return one day and His return is quick and before we know it, but let us trust in his word that it will be according to his word, that his Son will return again.

Dear Heavenly Father the end of the book is not the end of life, but a beginning of complete healing for your children as they trust in your word and that anyone that looks to Jesus will be saved. We are holding you to your word because it is true. Thank you for giving us your fruit and the thirst quencher of our soul. In Jesus precious name, Amen.
