The Throne And The Temple

Daily Devotions:
by Christina Farris

Revelations 4:1-5 KJV
1 After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.
2 And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.
3 And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald.
4 And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold.
5 And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.

One on the throne is it God Father or the Son that desired to show John the visions. It clear the Lord spoke because His voice is like a trumpet. The voice alone tells John it is God speaking. Twenty four elders were present at the time of the vision, I suspect 12 tribes and the twelve apostles were present. God and Christ are building blocks of Faith in God. Before we can receive our Savior knowledge of God must be or at least desired to know. To understand God sent his Only Begotten Son to save the lost, we must receive upon faith. At what point faith in the Solid Rock begins for a believer is not defined by just repentance. Belief without faith is not salvation by itself. Belief and obedience must come. What? What is the difference in receiving faith in Christ and allowing Satan to rule in your life. They both offer acceptance. I got on this subject in my head two night ago. And verse that came to mind as Moses lifted up the serpent so the son of man must be lifted up.Verse found in John 3. Serpent lifted was a healing serpent, it was a brozen serpent Moses put on a pole for anyone to look at would be healed that were bitten by poisonous vipers. What it meant was faith established by looking in obedience to God's command but not worship of the brozen snake. When good leaders are lifted up, it helps people to have faith in God and Christ. But none of the good leaders can or will save you beyond helping in lighting your torch for Jesus. Point faith alone in Christ what is different then following the adversary, is because the direction of the devil leads to hell and the direction of Christ leads to heaven. Belief without works is dead, and even the devil believes in God but what he does not do is follow in the pathway of God. The children in the wilderness looking at the brozen snake was not to worship the snake, but to see the snake and know God healing power. Must be careful at how we look at things and see the God of heaven, our vision of God on the throne in our hearts and to run toward Him and His Son. To run with undertanding of who God is and who His Son is so we can worship

What then on this throne we only see one God, and a rainbow around the room, where is the Word/Son of God? The word is proceeding outward has lightening and thunder as the voice of God, and the word of God going forth from the throne. Point is to see only One God in understanding, yet at the same time to see Godhead bodily in three person's is important. Christ in operation as seven spirits. The law giver, the rock, the attributes of God present. Yes Christ presents by another name before the throne. Christ submission at the throne important for the believer, for our role is not Christ, for we are not equal to Christ, but our title is son and daughter, it is not to be seven spirits, but to follow after Christ in obedience to Him and to tell of the seven Spirits of God. To stand in the presence of God before his throne.

The temple of God is separate from the throne of God in the way we have separation of church and state. The temple is the New Jerusalem, God and Christ is the temple and walks freely in the New Jerusalem. The throne establishes the law, but the temple establishes who the temple is. God and Christ body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. We are not to worship man who the Holy Spirit lives in. We can not fit in the physical body of God or the body of Christ. The habitation of the Lord is not the mansions he built for the believer. The believer will receive a new body that fadeth not away. The imagiery of the temple, and the throne is important to understand the kingdom of God and the power and authority of God in the believers life and our place in the heaven and New Jerusalem realm. We want ot think of God's authority not divided by laws and temple. Yet it is. Not the way the United States divides it, because God's authority of the laws pertaining to God is also part of worship of God. First law given was no other gods before Him or simply put faith in God alone. Yet the temple law and the legal law is not see as one until the time of Christ return. It has to be seen as belief verse unbelief. It is one law established even among the gentiles believers that is not a legal law in many nations or even states. Some states still say under God and still believe in God. When the believers in our nation begins to understand the division this causing in our nation will it change the pledge or the constitutional law for all to believe in God probably not. Religious freedom ideology is strong in our nation, more so I think at times then faith in God almighty. The point of the temple and law being separate does not take away the lawgiver or who is worshipped. The Temple of God walks among the people, we bow to God and Christ that walks the earth in the New Jerusalem. God being superior to us and at the same time freely walks among us in equality not in the since of being our equals, but treating us as his family. We are his family, He knows our name, He knows who we are. He rules over us as Father and Son. Yet the rule of God in the throne room is clear. The place of Christ as intercessor before us. Yet we allowed to sit on the throne with God. I do not want anyone to view the New Jerusalem as only a place of rule but also a place of worship and spending time with God and Christ our Savior. To walk in Jerusalem just like John. In the throne room and also in comminication with God Father, and Son before the temple. Temple is in the throne room.

Dear Heavenly Father, enable our minds not to see only a judge on the throne, but the God of our hearts that calls us family. In Jesus precious name, Amen.

Continual Scripture Study for Devotion: Revelation 21:22-27 KJV
22 And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.
23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.
24 And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.
25 And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.
26 And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it.
27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.
