Niphal the hebrew word to comfort oneself meaning to repent. Lord comforted himself because he had made man that were wicked. God cares about what kind of human beings we are. It is intesting thought to know God cares what is in our hearts and how we act. God cares about the things he made whether they be good or evil. When he seen what he made became evil, he desire to destroy them. Yet one man found God's grace and that grace seen saved eight in the ark. What was it about Noah that God loved, he was just and perfect man for his generation. Some people strive for imperfection and others strive for perfection.

Our human desire to be like everyone else is normal but in this case it not beneficial for survival. God loved those who honor him. God love those who walk in his perfection and demonstrate justice in his decision making. God was not please with any man that was wicked and ideas were on evil continuously. Humans in general had become corrupted by the devil and his ways, and maybe even their own decision making. They were not nice people but cruel and unjust in their ways.

The injustice is not hard to understand, it what corrupts one nation to cause destruction of itself. The injust shall not be justified by God on the day of judgment. How we know because Jesus talks about the day of judgment being like the days of Noah. What does it mean the days of Noah, when God shut door of the ark. It about how God viewed man at the time of destruction, man's ways were evil and injust. Just like in the days of Sodom and Gommorah.

When we look at our country what is happening in the areas of destruction is their evil. There are many things that goes on in areas that should not and their many things that evil seems to remain in despite law enforcement, good doers that go in to clean up area, and even our military. We have to ask why does evil arise if not to fall, yet believers will rise and keep rising up to victory. Believers know God destruction is not for the believers unless they are corrupt and those that are not corrupt but in the path of the storm, will ride through the storm or narrowly escape. Maybe as life long warning to be not on the pathway of destruction but on the pathway of righteousness.

Paul even wrestled with the idea of those that were righteous by the laws of God without knowing God or his laws. God's laws of obedience having prosperity of protection even to non believers. The reason being is all man have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Do you not think even with Noah perfection and justice he had not sin in his life, you would be sorely mistaken.

God repented/comforted himself that he had made man. When he seen Noah, he found him to be of his perfection and justice and so he told him to build an ark and that ark would protect him, his family and everykind of animal of the field., because of a great flood coming. He would destroy all flesh because of its evilness or its lust for violence. Our world today lust for violence and war. I was watch roadrunner and coyote the other day, a Bugs Bunny Cartoon, and yet my thoughts of how we love seeing roadrunner always getting away. Yet I am only reminded of the violence of coyote trying to get his prey. God created the coyotes of this world not to fail at capture of their prey. That is their way of survival and it not a violent act in regards to the need of food. Yet man adopted the ways of the coyote, in regards to their anger, their lust, their greed and even their idea of destruction of the innocent. Man that is evil even uses the tactics of survival by killing of the innocent or just. Yet God looks at Noah he see a man of compassion perhaps. A man that uses destruction only in the since of food, and maybe he even had compassion on the animals. Yet God speaks to him and tells him to build an ark. After the ark experience Noah would plant a vineyard make wine and get drunk. But he also steps out of the ark and worships God. Maybe out of fear and trembling at the experience, and perhaps drunk to forget the events that occured for a moment in time. The humanity of Noah seen in his life time as he curses his son for seeing him naked and telling the world about it. Yet mankind would spread once more with big brother always seeming to judge the nations beside them. Yet destruction still comes to nations for a reason.

Noah family was surely unnumber in the world when the ark was built. If you the only righteous person left you still have God has your friend. If you are the only righteous person in Sodom and Gomorrah, God might take you out of the city before destruction. If you the only righteous person and your protect the spies like Rehab the Harlot, God's protection rest on you if you obey the spies by tying a scarlet thread to the door handle. A symbol of the blood of the lamb. If you are a prophet, you might die or you might be the prophet to lead the battle against the devil. Either way God hand is upon you. Why fear the destruction of the enemy even if you are saint of God, even with destruction you have victory through Christ your Lord. The victory of eternal life with Christ is yours always.

Whether to be crucified as Christ, or standing on the victory lines of triumph over the enemy in this life fear not. God has redeemed his people and will always redeem his people. He will not redeem our flesh(evilness) but he will redeem our righteousness, the part that uncorrupted will not fade away. Fear not the fear of God's judgment if you are following the will of God in your life. The first word of todays lesson Niphal, God comforted himself, do you not think he knows how to comfort us when this evil surrounds us.

Dear Heavenly Father, help us not to fear the evi of this world, but realize we are cover with the markings/blood of Christ and the HOly Spirit. In Jesus precious name, Amen.
