Daily Devotions: by Christina FarrisPsalm 9:8-10 KJV
8 And he shall judge the world in righteousness, he shall minister judgment to the people in uprightness.
9 The LORD also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble.
10 And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.We become oppressed we become of no spiritual hope and may find we allowing the enemy trying to entrap or snare, where reliance is not on Shepherd but one's emotions or situation.
Elijah ran because of fear but his faith and hope restored on the mountain top in the cave. God able to take the oppression in our life and bring us to recovery. God began to restore Elijah with food, rest and fasting for forty days and taking to mountain showing Elijah not in the storm. He the still snall voice outside the whirlwind and the earthquake. God was'nt going anywhere he still in control.
Dear Heavenly Father let us observe your presense outside the storm and realize you are not connected to the storm. In Jesus precious name, Amen. Continual Scripture Study: 1 Kings 19:15 KJV
