Daily Devotions:
by Christina Farris

Psalm 9:1-7 KJV
1 To the chief Musician upon Muthlabben, A Psalm of David. I will praise thee, O LORD, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvellous works.
2 I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High.
3 When mine enemies are turned back, they shall fall and perish at thy presence.
4 For thou hast maintained my right and my cause; thou satest in the throne judging right.
5 Thou hast rebuked the heathen, thou hast destroyed the wicked, thou hast put out their name for ever and ever.
6 O thou enemy, destructions are come to a perpetual end: and thou hast destroyed cities; their memorial is perished with them.
7 But the LORD shall endure for ever: he hath prepared his throne for judgment.

Response of what David see happen the enemy is turned back, they fall and they perish at God presence. He sits in his throne judging right. If you on the right side of battle God judgest the enemy in battle.

David had a need to praise God because of God's judgment on David enemies. Yet he also magnifying his works on the battle. We going through a storm, a battle of faith are we praising God for the victory of the battle and the fall of the enemy. Going through illness are we praising God for each positive news. For each victory. What about life struggles of leavong a job because of just general bad business practice or decision making. Anything in one life that changes the battle of our existence and ability to provide. We see the enemy fall when they turn back.

We see them no longer in our way, but being removed out of our pathway. The enemy falls and perish at God's presence. Yet the count is unknown with out an account of the enemy defeated. How do I know there is account taken because in many victories of David an account taken concerning the battle death toll.

David knew God's power in battle because of death tolls, because God was on the thrown in the heat of battle judging right and wrong. We got to remember not everyone is evil we war with, but we can count on God judging rightly in the battle field. Our battles maybe different then King David, but God judging those in our opposition that desire our harm and is not part of our solution moving them out of our way through his judgment.

As we see the battle and see God judgment, we praise God for our salvation. For his victory in our life. Knowing God protection is great. We witness victory God is worthy to be praise but we must remember we too stand before God for our actions. Because of Christ and his mercy we might get corrected for our wrong but our eternity is sealed by God's grace.

Dear Heaven Father judge the enemy let us see our enemies not pnly fall but scattered. In Jesus precious name, Amen.

Continual Scripture Study: 1 Corinthians 15:56-58 KJV
56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law
57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

Psalm 92:9 KJV
9 For, lo, thine enemies, O LORD, for, lo, thine enemies shall perish; all the workers of iniquity shall be scattered.
