10/19/2024

Daily Devotions:
by Christina Farris

Isaiah 26:20-21 KJV
20 Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast.
21 For, behold, the LORD cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.

Part of going into exile is knowing the shut door resembles people behind are shelter for departure and complient others not prepared for exile gathering by force. Representing non commitment in being taken for the journey. God people following exile instructions because to do so meant less destruction. To shut behind the door, to come put and leave not necessarily peaceful, but taken into captivity without force of war. Yet it something to reflex on God protection of his people during this time frame.

Knowing remnant of God's people is his bride still. Difference in exile and final judgment in Revelation talking about bride of Christ is there is another day for God's bride after the exile. Christ's bride taken is entering a new world, and new heaven and earth.

Looking at this time frames, their only tomorrow in exile as we know it, where in the judgment the dead rise for final judgment but they no longer have protection from God's wrath. Bride is being taken to final home, while other face their doom. Earth and heaven havent changed or been destroyed.

These time frames can sound similiar, but exile is different. When study bride the church we need to look at it in finalization to come with a new begining, but not for the lost. As long as the remnant remains people have hope finding way to Jesus. What remnant the Christian church, the bride of Christ. We have a responsibility to share who bride of Christ and God is. End times wont be an exile, it be about finale things gone from the world as we know it. It be about a New Home.

Dear Heavenly Father prepare our hearts for finale of marriage with your Son as the groom. In Jesus precious name, Amen.

Continual Scripture Study: Isaiah 54:5-7 KJV
5 For thy Maker is thine husband; the LORD of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called.
6 For the LORD hath called thee as a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit, and a wife of youth, when thou wast refused, saith thy God.
7 For a small moment have I forsaken thee; but with great mercies will I gather thee.

Revelation 21:1-8 KJV
1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.
6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.
7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
