The Serpent Will Be Defeated 10/10/2024
Daily Devotions: by Christina FarrisGenesis 3:1-5 KJV
1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:
3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.
4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. When was the serpent made, the day before man. God gave power over the beast of the field. Women gave her power to the serpent when she allowed her to be deceived/beguile by him. Often in our in humanity insteady of crushing Satan we give him a second to consider his lies to be true that we fall to temptation/evil. First we need to not be deceived by Serpent the old devil and learn to crush his deception and lies.
What Serpent lie about the first was that fruit would not kill us if Eve ate of it. Deception of what would happen if she ate of the fruit. Man would die and painful death because man body would grow and then decay over time bringing death to a corruptible body because of sin.
God would bring salvation to man but through his plan of changing our corruptibily to life of incorruptibily in heaven as we experience death to life from incorruptibility to eternal life though faith in Jesus. Without God's hope corruption is face, with Christ hope is given. Satan could not bring salvation so his lie to woman remained that she would die eatong the forbidden fruit.
Dear Heavenly Father you crushed the serpent with the gift of eternal, a promise you gave man after his sin if he believed, not leaving man to face corruption but eternal life through faith in Christ Jesus as we pass from old to new. In Jesus precious name, Amen. Continual Scripture Study:

23 And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.
24 And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.
25 And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
