Daily Devotions: by Christina Farris1 Corinthians 10:6 KJV
6 Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted.Sometimes all you need is a verse and not a whole chapter to understand the need to flee immorality or sinful ways. We know time of Corinth main sin would been immorality. Sin in general was frown on by God and his people. Sin was preached against, instructed against and warned against. Everything evil was to be avoid. Sounds simple enough. Chapter in Corithians deals not only with sin but baptism of faith and man's failing and man's repentance of following sin and repentance. Learning walk by faith despite man's failing in the wilderness of faith and loosing reward of faith on earth but not heaven. That faith was more then outward but inward learning. In other words a good consciences before God Ist Peter talks about.
Dear Heavenly Father help us put evil and sin away through resurrection of Christ. In Jesus precious name, Amen. Continual Scripture Study: 1 Peter 3:21 KJV
