Thankful Day 2 11/02/2024
Daily Devotions: by Christina Farris2 Corinthians 1:1-7 KJV
1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timothy our brother, unto the church of God which is at Corinth, with all the saints which are in all Achaia:
2 Grace be to you and peace from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.
3 Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;
4 Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.
5 For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ.
6 And whether we be afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effectual in the enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer: or whether we be comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation.
7 And our hope of you is stedfast, knowing, that as ye are partakers of the sufferings, so shall ye be also of the consolation.Thankful for a Heavenly Father that provides comfort from his Spirit and through others. One blessing of faith comes from comfort God provides in lonely times but also through the struggles of other believers as well as our own struggle as believer, so we can pass the comfort on. It sometimes knowing there is a tomorrow and this too will pass, after our own struggles.
Has a believer it sometimes just aiding with basic things another needs. Sometimes one doesnt want help but need it and right people come in to handle it. If God sent them your way, you know his love for you. This is why we can be thankful.
Dear Heavenly Father thank you for your comfort. For comfort give through others. Thank allowing us give same comfort to others. In Jesus precious name, Amen. Continual Scripture Study: Philippians 2:1-2 KJV
1 If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies,
2 Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. http://www.turtle30cshell.com
