Daily Devotions: by Christina FarrisPsalm 100:1-5 KJV
1 A Psalm of praise. Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands.
2 Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing.
3 Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
5 For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations. It thanksgiving Day month and time to praise the Lord. Do I find it hard to praise him as I battle cancer. I been in the hospital week and now home. At times it is hard but where my mindset on praising and thanking God. Why so because God didnt give me cancer. He is my healer as I battle cancer. Provided me with good doctors. My goal to beat cancer is not my motivation for praise. In fact it hard sometimes to concentrate on praising God but we blessed for each milestone we conquer in life. God our Father our comforter, our rock in the storms and much more.
We come with thanksgiving for who he is in our life. We honor him because of who he is with praise on our lips. We must reach a place we see Jesus bigger then our problems and more then our problems.
Dear Heavenly Father let us come with thanksgiving in our hearts to worship you in praise and honor to you. In Jesus precious name, Amen. Continual Scripture Study: Colossians 3:17 KJV
