Colossians 3:10-17 KJV
10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:
11 Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.
12 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;
13 Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.
14 And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.
15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

Put on the new clothing of faith. Wake from sleep as you arise with Christ because your old self been buried with Jesus. As I think about communication with God, we need to reflect our communication with onr another. First thing to remember there id no differencr in the body if Christ whether gentile or Jew. Whether slave or free. Whether white, black, brown, red or yellow skin and even blue(group near Erie, Ohio). Matters not if you are zebra or half breed of one race or another, we are all the same in Christ.

Are dogs and cats bigots. I only knew one dog that was not mine that perfer companionship with a black cat over a tiger strip cat. Only thing I could figure out was this dog knew no other dog and perhaps thought he was a cat and so he took up with the cat that appeared to have the same color. People tend to congregate by similiatities if not by race it would be perhaps religion. Christian tend to hang out with other Christians matter not background or race if they love the Lord. What interesting if you are in a Christian group wirh many diversities it can make you will round in many different trades or talents because natural curious about others give you an open door to gather information about those diversities, that may not normally be shared with by not being in a diverse group. A city slicker in a farming church is going to learn about agriculture and zoology. What ever career he may have chosen whether sales, computers or industrial and manufacturing will be something to trade with to the farmer if he not to boring. Then you got open network of plumbers, antique sales, florist, seamstress and more. Church is not a place to drum up business but it happens as people get to know one anothers talents, gifts and likes and dislikes. Yet the talent God may use in, may have nothing to do wirh your background or current skills. Yet those skills maybe useful to your church. You be working in nursery or teenagers. You might be helping someone with another mission projects that help elderly, poor and so forth. The diversity of people has benefits. Especially when they are willing to share Christ with others.

Scripture talks about singing hymns and psalms. How many people know the lastest secular music and benefit of those words when going through heart ache, pain, sorrow besides the songs in which one can have a good time too. Yet how many know the lyrics in all church hymnals or choir song books? Let's not leave the latest Christian contemporary or old Gospel songs. How many can use their humming, whistling or singing to help someone in need that needs to hear it. How many seem can carry a tune and allow the Holy Spirit to help retain those songs for people in need. Maybe even our own need through out the day. I have maybe an ounce of tunes and yet I have heard the gift of song where music flows and people seem to just naturally share it. Some people do not have a gift but they make a joyful noise to the Lord.

It more about obeying the Lord then always using our talents which God may use that as well. Part of sharing is ability for the word God speak to our hearts about as we follow his will for our life as believers. We need not only to listem to thr Spirit but to ask God with our heart all sorts of questions with respect to his position and aurhority he should have in our life as a christian believer has Lord of our life. One question should be: What can I do for the Lord? You ask him why there so many disaster, he may show you why in Bible reading or by the things going on in the world around you. May be praying for help and understanding on your job. Maybe seeking God in difficult times. Having problems with family pray through. Most thinks may only matter for the moment but by walking in that moment by the fruit of the Spirit we need to be wearing, we realize how God can use us to help others or ourselves through prayer in difficult times.

No one likes correction but correction by God's Spirit is not us taking a switch and chasing someome back to where you think they should be. But to use words of song scripture as God leads you to pray and share with another by his fruits and examples as children of God and Christ Jesus. Be wise in knowing what Jesus would do.

Dear Heavenly Father, gives the wisdom and knowledge by your Spirit, by your word, through singing and by just praying. In Jesus precious name, Amen.
