Luke 12:1-5 KJV
1 In the mean time, when there were gathered together an innumerable multitude of people, insomuch that they trode one upon another, he began to say unto his disciples first of all, Beware ye of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.
2 For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known.
3 Therefore whatsoever ye have spoken in darkness shall be heard in the light; and that which ye have spoken in the ear in closets shall be proclaimed upon the housetops.
4 And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do.
5 But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.

Purim and Palm Sunday is this weekend as Sunday approaches I want to bring several things that occurred with Christ teachings. Purim being about annilation of the Jews during time of Queen Esther. She declared a fast for her people and went with prayer to stop the decree to kill her people. Of course God was with Esther and Haman who had plotted against people found himself hung instead of those he desired dead which were the Jewish people. Did Christ come to destroy Jerusalm or to bridge the gap between God and his people

When Jesus speaks against the Jewish religious leaders or does he do so for another reason. Through out scripture there is attack of defense against the questions from religious leaders. Christian leaders experience similiar accusations without just cause. Were Christ discussions speaking against Roman leaders and their own religious system? It was direct at the religious because the religious leaders act like lords over the people without understanding they sin too.

Leaven(sin) being in the priesthood started with a lack of humility toward God. Their tendacity to exalt their own perfection and failing to see their own humanity. If one exams cult groups like Jim Jones(People's Temple group that commited suicide after going to Guyanna)and David Koresh in Waco Texas, both men acted with superiority to the government and to the people they lead to their end. Yet people who died could not speak why they followed blindly to their end. The point is the leaven/exaltation of themselves used in form of power to control people is the error. Faith need to be restored to the people of faith. Miracles and healing to restore God's position in faith.

Was a civil war prevented by Christ's cross the answer is no. Forty to sixty years later destruction of the Jewish Temple would happen. We got something going on changing the course of history as people understood it. Yet something more was happening before the people a new covenant from God was before their eyes yet they were blind because they exalted themselves above the people. New covenant being the same but restored was faith in God and his word(Jesus). People see the antichrist arising and fail to see the need in of faith in God.

The leaven or sin of the religious leaders would effect the Jewish Temple. Would effect those that followed. Though Jesus proclaim their unrighteous because of leaven in the priesthood, did it caused antisemitism in the world not understanding the Jewish people if they relied on their priesthood for faith like Judas Iscariot who portrayed Jesus fell aa he went to repent to the religious leaders and not God. The fall of Christianity begins with exaltation of ministers and not Christ. The fall begins when people look to their ministers as being God. There is only one Messiah his name is Jesus. Christianity is based on following after God through and by Jesus and not some religious establishment design to interpret God's word for their own understanding. Though these religious establishment can be a blessing. It was a blessing for spiritual fellowship and guidance and prayer.

Do not fear those in the power in the world but fear the one that can destroy one's soul and place the soul in hell. It natural to fear death of the hand's of man, because of the many ways they can kill. Yet our greater fear needs to be our judge of when one stand in the presence of God and Jesus who has the power to say he never knew you. Depart from me as God cast you into darkness of hell.

Dear Heavenly Father may our faith be in you and your word. That faith has not changed but the bridge of understanding comes by your word who is Christ as old and in the flesh of man as new covenant as a bridge to the world. In Jesus precious name, Amen.

5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;
7 That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
