Matthew 25:31-46 KJV
31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:
32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:
33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?
38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?
39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
42 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:
43 I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.
44 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?
45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.
46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

Why give to the needy. There and old saying goes around comes around. You might be in need today but you may be in need one day. Why Should Christians be charitable. Why should believers care. By caring for those in need we are caring for Jesus. What Jesus is saying the love you have for me pass it on especially to those in need.

When I first started writing about how to vive when you cant or when you can. Things that do not cost you one extta cent is a buy one get one free product and pass on to someone in need if you yourself are not in need of it. I waa delight to see the other day to see someone else saying it too. I seen someone in a video for show demonstrating how he chosen to help the homeless in this heat with frozen bottles of water and some that are just cold. Camera is not a bad idea especially this day age not all homeless are safe people. They have learn tp survive not always waiting for a handout or odd job. However all homeless need the love of God most know what this weather is like and dont need a lecture of survival but a cold drink of water and none perishable food or your buy one get one free item.

If can give, give when you can. God knows the needs of the children that know Jesus his Son. I often dont talk about giving. I received a huge box of yarn yesterday to help with some charity work. It not always a food but clothing item or a blanket that is needed. We can not help one way there always another. God sees what people do but the main thing is to care. Sometimes it providing an ipad and hearing a story to someone find someone that can help a person more then you can long term. Helping someone fill out application to get financial assistance for those needing immediate shelter. Providing a tent or a meal at a table in a restaurant or outside table this time of year. The effort of some projects takes more experience. Also knowing when to back away.

People why should Christian give because it the same as doing it for Jesus. But also it the story of the sheep and the goats. Both have hair and horns but only one cares for others. Christ compassion is action; it by itself can not save you but it action that tells of your love and hope for the world to know hope that in your heart which is Jesus. As a believer do your action demonstrate who you are in faith. Do your actions speak hope to those in need. Fresh water doesnt always speak hope for the next day but water at midheat of the day speaks volumes to a thirsty soul. Jesus hope speaks life and hope as living water freely given. Pass hope long to someone in need.

If you a sheep you dont have worry about being a goat that knows about God but cares nothing about the ways of God.

Dear Heavenly Father, encourage your people that can to find ways to pass a little hope along to those in need. In Jesus precious name, Amen.
