Matthew 8:5-13 KJV
5 And when Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came unto him a centurion, beseeching him,
6 And saying, Lord, my servant lieth at home sick of the palsy, grievously tormented.
7 And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him.
8 The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.
9 For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it.
10 When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.
11 And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven.
12 But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
13 And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour.

Let me begin a story only to have to figure how to explain. What is authority in the kingdom of God. Man's world sees toughness as strength and weakness a lack of power. Some men are offended if they turned into the proper authorities because those authorities over them then corrects them. The weaker person going above the stronger to show a need of correction. Do you want to be corrected by a higher power or a someone weaker then you. Correction of power can be with compassion because they done so too, for whatever reason or it can be done to make a person tougher and stronger.

When we pray for healing, for our request to be known to Jesus who has the power to deliver then there is no higher authority we can ask. If God refuses our request were we asking in accordance to God's will at the present time or our desire for change to be immediately.

There are ministers that have a healing service and they speak with authority to receive and I have to wonder how many are healed physically, spiritually or emotionally. Who were content to wait on God's healing. How many understood that the prayer was given not in hope but with authority of reception. Your ability to receive was not yet. The old saying if everyone was healed there be a line with no end. Did the person expect Jesus to heal or the minister. Fact power of God might and will follow through the prayer warrior but the one receiving must be willing to receive wirh hands extended to catch the healing or receive as a gift expecting change.

I was awoken about two am and the pain that normally gripped me the past three months seem lessen slightly as if God was saying those ribs are healing. At four I got my meds as I did at ten, thinking this is one of those healings that going to take time. However the relation of knowing healing was coming helped me get through the night. Mindset however healing came and it was coming.

Man that approached Jesus was a man of authority but also under others in authority. He heard of the authority of Jesus and knew he had people under him. He ask for his servants healing. Jesus said I will come and the man requesting says just speak the word and I know he will be healed. No question asked and he knew Jesus was a busy man has he himself was.

The man already received his blessimg of knowimg who Jesus is. He didnt need anything else but his word given. His trust in the one he asked, who had the authority to grant or explain why it would not be.

The servant is healed. The servant healed because of faith in the one with authority.

Dear Heavenly Father thank you sending Christ with the authority that was already his, in Jesus precious name, Amen.
