Genesis 2:23-25 KJV
23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.
24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.
25 And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.

Next Sunday is Father's day. And so man man first obligation was for man to leave his father and mother. Man here is generic word in the since female and male. Nope the woman's mother only got a son by marriage. A son not another husband to order the things that she needed doing. Good inlaw tries and helps the inlaws out when they can. It part of extend family.

There a reason we leave our folks getting married perhaps but Bible never speaks to much about inlaw headaches. In fact Ruth would go with her mother in law to take care of her after both their husband dies. We learn in New testament we take care of the elderly.

To leave Father and mother came before the first mother and father exist except for Father God and yet Father God would place Adam and Eve out of the garden and give a gift of a fur coat. I wonder if Eve got to watched clothing being made. No clue but we know both men and women sewed items used in different huge projects.

Term father used as far as Father of first to be a master of his trade like father of music. herdsmen, tentmakers and so forth. Sometimed many talents. Whether first tent was made by Jabal, Jubal brother and father of music.

This is in Genesis earlier years of Cain's ancestors/ children. Adam and Eve bared more sons and daughters. Adam's and Eve's third son was named Seth. Cain father of his own people, after killing Abel.

Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for fatherhood. Thank for men that take leadership in talents they are good at. In Jesus precious name, Amen.
