Our Healer 6/09/2024
Daily Devotions: by Christina FarrisPsalm 103:1-5 KJV
1 A Psalm of David. Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.
2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;
5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.God often reminds me of these verses when I am not feeling good. I been in pain for four years now do to injury. Long story it like having a lot of weight on my chest and doing a situp but not in the gym. It was accident what happened but this morning feeling pretty lousy because of the second injury over two months ago. Still trying to get some more test done. Does it change my think that God is my healer. Definitely not. Why if I am miserable, I pray and church prays and nothing happens. Do I still believe? I been to far with Jesus to not look back and know his timing perfect. His healing power is grace. Unanswer prayers also tells me it maybe issue of my healing is in his timetable for his purpose.
So today as a believer in Christ. I want you to say God is my healer and those who have no ailments, I want you to claim it knowing in God's timing he will heal according to his will of something if only sin.
There a point we must claim what know about God, also does not remove all barriers, immediately. Do you think Paul was not in pain when he endured a beating, a stoning or a viper bite. Remember Christ healing came at his death as he hung on a trees. His physical taken at death his emotional pain knowing he still would not save everyone. Jesus was spiritual whole because of who he is from before his birth and through the cross, resurrection, ascension and beyond to even now. His completeness allows us to endure by his grace. Dear Heavenly Father your grace is sufficient for our needs. Than you for being our healer in your timetable, in Jesus precious name, Amen.
Continual Scripture Study: 2 Corinthians 1:3-7 KJV 3 Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; 4 Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God. 5 For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ. 6 And whether we be afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effectual in the enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer: or whether we be comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation. 7 And our hope of you is stedfast, knowing, that as ye are partakers of the sufferings, so shall ye be also of the consolation. http://www.turtle30cshell.com
