Who is God that cares about our well being? Watching out the window, from my hospital bed several verses came to mind about God and that he made me . Yet what came to me and rested on was the thought is why are we cared about by God? Of course laying in a hospital bed, not feeling this time to badly, I was thinking on how God knitted(Psalms 139:13 NIV) me in my mother's womb. The beginning of my substance before I even understood there was a Creator God designing me and even you.

Who is man but part of God's creation. A part of his creation with a job to protect and care for his creation on Earth. Despite all I felt the past few days I can still say God is my Creator and my God. Why we feel should never change our view that God is our Creator and Lord. Can we through pain and sickness praise God. Those who been to the point of misery that praising God seems impossible meet your friend but also meet a person not only willing to omit but also willingly to say it is possible.

If God cares for us in our distress is he not worthy of our praise during this time of physical, emotional and spiritual distress as we search out why we continue to hold on ever so tightly to a Creator that even allows us to feel distress.

I began to think on King David's life whose life as a boy taught him to take on beast bigger then him that could turn him into a biscuit. How many scars must of come fighting lions, bears and more. The scars of the battlefield in his young adult years into middle age. His Psalms speaks of time of pain and physical distress and yet he still found within himself praises to God on his lips because of who God is as his Creator. David would rise in power and recognize a power greater then his own. It is not man's power to save man but a loving compassionate God. A God that created us each to be different and unique. Those that worship God are his sheep.

Dear Heavenly Father be ever so reminding who you are in our distress. Keep us focus that you are our Creator and our God. In Jesus precious name, Amen.
