No Condemnation in Christ 7/17/2024
Daily Devotions: by Christina FarrisJohn 12:47-50 KJV
47 And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.
48 He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.
49 For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.
50 And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.Jesus did not come to condemn the world but through him the world might be saved. Jesus coming was to save the world. The words he spoke was to bring condemmation and those words were from God. That sermon that convicts your heart hopefully God's word alone brought the condemnation. The commutable word is express image of truth and the condemnation it bring. Jesus being the word of prophesy was to bring light and truth and not condemnation that only the oral word sent from God could bring.
Easy to get the word being Christ and the oral word of God that brings judgment mixed up without understanding. Meaning God the Son taught judgment but condemned no one other then the son of perdition. Judgmental word had no human expression of image though it had power to destroy what God created. God wrath to come would come without salvation or mercy and so it can not take on the human or person form of God for God is a God of mercy and salvation by the word of truth has his Son.
The other day at the hospital a woman was barely able to walk and I stopped what I was doing and got a chair for her and pushed her in. No great feat to give her a little assistance. Mercy says help and the devil says pass on by. Aiding is not always with finances or gifts it can be with a hand extended. God's grace is not about allowing another to be tormented, it is about showing compassion. Christ walked with compassion healing the sick and caring for those that were not always ready to hear truth. The light can be blinding if one is not ready to receive it. It can be blinding, but it is often light for another. Jesus is there to heal with God's word. Not to torment but to bring truth by his word so light of God can shine forth to bring repentance. To bring hope to anyone that would believe and obey the truth.
Dear Heavenly Father may your word through your Son bring light to all people that will believe in your Son and what he speaks. In Jesus precious name, Amen. Continual Scripture Study: John 3:17-21 KJV
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
Hebrews 1:1-3 KJV
1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;
3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; http://www.turtle30cshell.com
