Proverbs 16:17 KJV
17 The highway of the upright is to depart from evil: he that keepeth his way preserveth his soul.

There many highways and some lead to Rome. The highway we are talking about today is the spiritual highway of righteous through faith with action not just of belief. Faith starts the righteous road from our end but where did the road come from but God.

Begining point of the highway of righteousness was it being extended by God the Father in love first by his word to people of faith in the Old Testament, then a road of holiness was created with his Son Jesus. Teaching and healing along the road what faith and works was all about. Teaching holiness through God's Son Jesus dying for all our sins, rising again and not a continual sacrifice of sheep, goats and bulls. Christ's road a road of purity. Christ's highway is one of holy living. Christ's highway is not just about faith but also good works by his Spirit because we love the Lord.

Dear Heavenly Father, Remind us daily the highway is not just about righteous not but a road of good works for your kingdom. In Jesus precious name, Amen.
