Proverbs 18:20-21 KJV
20 A man's belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled.
21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

There a lot of controversy in the tongue movement in church. Some people love to wag their tongue only to gossip they are a toad who snatch the gossip by another tongue waggler. Some have tongues that are like frog grabbing a fly for a meal of meat. Then you have the tongues that praise God like a song bird. Then you got the tongue that sucks on hard candy or licks sweetness of ice cream cone. That sweetness is very tasty going in and words coming out can be said with the same sweetness.

There much written in scripture about the tongue and I only got three verses which includes Continual Scripture Study. What precedes from the mouth either fruit of the Spirit or fruit of the devil. The fruit of death is of the devil and the fruit of life is of God and way of the Spirit. Something to think about are you a tongue waggler and a toad or a frog enjoy the food of God and allowing your tongue to build up others with the language of love and the words that worship God.

What in your mouth saying to those around you? Is what you are dishing out and swallowing of God?

Dear Heavenly Father may we speak words of life and not death. In Jesus precious name, Amen.
