Glorifying God In The Storm 7/06/2024
Daily Devotions: by Christina FarrisRomans 5:1-5 KJV
1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
3 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
4 And patience, experience; and experience, hope:
5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
We are justified by faith. The blessing with this justification is we have peace with God through Christ Jesus. Here one may apply definition of Jesus Christ being the word in the flesh. The word of God which we have access to stand in his grace by our justification being by and through Christ Jesus. Because of God's word.
As believers we have access to stand in God's grace and rejoice in the hope that the glory of God gives and is. Even tribulation a believer can glory in, because of patience God's Spirit teaches us.
Until walk with God's Spirit in his submission, one can know the peace when waiting for time to pass and time to healing of the situation that comes to all humanity. Patients to wait. Trust me waiting is a virtue that comes with age and experience but that peace that comes in the middle and beginning of tribulation is from God. It the hope God delivers in the storm that makes waiting not as tedious of a job as it could have been. God gave us the Comforter the Holy Spirit not just as instructor to believer but to be that warm embrace in the cold night air. It like having a hug from God. It is spiritual hug and not physical session necessarily, but a comfort of peace that can only come from God. As his love surrounds us his glory of his love for us is revealed. We can praise him in the storm. We can praise him for the peace and patience he can only supply in ou hearts and minds.
Dear Heavenly Father Let us stand in your presence as tribulation tries to engulf us but can not. Let your lesson of patiences be learned by the surrounding of the Holy Spirit around our very being knowing the reality of your gift. In Jesus precious name, Amen. 16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;
17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,
18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;
19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.
20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,
