Let me tell about a day when the world comes crashing around a person because of one mistake and she/he feel in judgment by the Holy Spirit for sinning against him in the same breath. We need be thankful God sees the entire heart of mankind, including all impurities of the mind and inward being. Christ came to set us free from sin, He expects us to minister in that same freedom. Inward man deceives our heart with lies of I have no guilt, my mind is purified by Christ and I experience no hate, anger, nor resentment toward others. If Job, Daniel, David and Jonah could be anger at God then our ability to be anger and resentiful with people and even God must occur too. These people were anointed by God for a purpose to maybe nothing else to show our human emotion when we are having one of those days.
Martin Luther King no doubt knew the rage of his own people against whites as he preached the Gospel of love for all people through Christ Jesus. No doubt he heard through grapvines and talking to young people of the resentment toward whites. Dont think white people are not resentful of people of other races too, it not just one group or another.
Martin Luther King learned to minister in the love of Christ along with his wife and family. To be better then our thoughts and heart. Teaching we must dig deep to where Christ lives in us. We as a people of Christ and nation of many ethnicity must at times dig deep into our soul to love, and sometimes our very nature to hold back anger and hate at times for injust in our world is literally an act of Christ and the Holy Spirit within in our hearts.
Robert E Lee a Christian fought with family because family were stronger then his ties to his nation not because he own slaves. Would his nation aid him in old age or would his family. He served in Washington as long as could before joining the South in a war he knew they might not win, though they be strong enough. Though he was pardon after his death. He stood on a side that continue to set people free and not enslave them as many Northern did after the war acting as sweatshop owners to people of all races that worked for them, no matter the location.
Over a 150 years later the North and government still think they should do that very thing to both poor, white, black, hispanic, and more. Rev. Martin Luther King taught hope, love and faith for all people despite the horrors of what he seen of the world in which he lived happening to his own people and people in the world.
We are instructed in ministry to offer hope not our anger to the world. Our charity should be done in love not because someone is a burden or without means to care about another especially themselves. We taughr to not grumble or complain. Yet it easy to bring up a discussion about prices, weather and the local gossip, even if about self.
Even the devil knows good works covers up his sin last night or anger in front of people. People see the person with anger but they know the person does many good deeds often pass it off as things happen or he did not mean it. He just had a rough day. He donates money and helps in time of crisis do not worry about what he does. He vital to society and a good worker.
God is not that way, God even corrects the charitable man. He chastizes the heart, allows evil to befall him even when he does good works to correct the man to repentance.
God's love comes through correction of his people to shape them into children of the cross. Cross being judged by worldly action that cause another from receiving God's grace through his word because of wrongful actions, while God is seeing the desire of the heart to serve him. Our emotions are fleeting and our true nature is love because of our heart change for Jesus comes forth in love for others.
As believer in faith when we allow God and Christ to goven by his Spirit we find ourselves calm instead of angry, no longer upset but smiling about a situation. Having learned by his Spirit he is in control and we can rest in his peace and love. Yet it not always easy and our emotions still try to contol including our actions.
God's correction is to help steady the course and see God's grace and to allow us love as Christ loved us. It is God's grace through the sacrifice of his Son we get into heaven. If it was by actions we be doing charity tell our pockets are completely drained.
Dear Heavenly Father, help us in our of need to be the people you desire us to be. In Jesus precious name, Amen.
