New Year's Day 2024: Rejuvenated
1/01/2023

Daily Devotions:
by Christina Farris

Isaiah 40:28-31 KJV
28 Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.
29 He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.
30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:
31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Exfoliating one skin is to rejuvenate one's skin. It is the same method we need to use in spiritual warfare. There are dead cells in our spiritual life that keeps one from being and appearing rejuvenating. These dead cells are part of our humanity and not just who we truly are in Christ or who God and Christ are is in the world as we comphrend with our finite knowledge.

People do have periods where they tire in faith because their human. In fact even the young in faith grow faint and weary at times during the journey of faith. From the age human reasoning and simple child like innocents of even faith in Santa Claus, Tooth Fairy and the Easter Bunny comes to a reality halt, stark reality and humanities abilities becomes a time of weariness and slack of faith. Faith goes on the shelf with all fairytale books, with the exception of the knowledge God is real and he loves us and sent his Son to exfoliate and rejuvenate our lives.

God wants to mold our way of thinking. God is not only a God of possibilities but He not a God that gets tire. In God there is no darkness. He needs not to exfoliate or to rejuvenate himself. God wants to cleanse not just our surface areas but all the way to deep within our soul, our mind and heart with the knowledge of who he is. We only need to exfoilate and rejuvenate our knowledge of who we already know he is as a Godly being/person. What it means our vocubulary of who we are and what we say outwardly must begin to become a light to the world.

We may grow weary, tired and faint in faith, but God does not grow tired. He wants to fill you with power from on high called his Holy Spirit.

Last night I have been in need of revival. I wrote a short story on sleigh bells on the home page. Well I got curious about whether bells are mention in scripture. Found three reference one had to do with the high Priest having bells on their fringes when the went into the room of the ark. The other is found in Zacharias 14 verse 20. The horse had bells. I began to study few commentaries on the entire chapter. I suggest your own study of that one chapter well leave you wondering is this time now or will it happen again. There was a point that all my soul needed to be rejuvenated inward by the word with a measure of hope.

God knows what not only motivates our heart, but what will clean dead surface dirt to allow prophetic word to shine forth in our reality of our life. Our sin of unbelief, sin of wondering why wait when God's promise is a long time in coming.

Well God clear and if we are tired he will give us strength. We are to wait on the Lord to renew us to strengthen our heart, mind and soul. We need sanctifying allow God's power to do the change.

Dear Heavenly Father rejuvenate us, we are weak and you are stronger. In Jesus precious name, Amen.

Continual Scripture Study: Hebrews 12:1-6 KJV
1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
3 For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.
4 Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin.
5 And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him:
6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.
