1 Corinthians 13:1-13 KJV
1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.
3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.
4 Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
8 Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.
9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.
10 But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.
11 When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
13 And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

Charity is another word for love in english language. When Americans use the word charity, one might often think of charitable organizations that will take from your pocket while using money to aid or pay someone brother-inlaw a job. Many charities are up front of what they do and what they want out of your purse and it is not loose change and often increments of 25 dollars to thousands of dollars. Hopefully the money will br spent to help whoever in need. The charity is often made up of both volunteer and trained personal based on skill level and person desire to be a volunteer in the professional realm.

Is a paid person love, it can be. They speak the language of love as they hand things out, but others see money no matter if it a gratitude offering or full pay. At some point Charity has to be for genuine love. To give to people in need for whatever charity is giving and knowing you or someone you care about; could or have been in a similiar situation. Love whether paid or unpaid comes responsibility to demonstrate it to others.

Robotic service of answers service might make services cost efficient but it takes away the human compassion. When I think of tyrant control I think of a loveless society where things march in unison but their no loyalty, hope or love in the picture. All governments probably to some degree is a lack of compassion in one field or another. It truly the compassion from God when charity shown when it should not have been normally given.

There is point charity given does not have to be seen beyond the receiver it not prideful, it not about being filled with all gifts of God and a flashy show of faith. It about ministry with charity coming from the heart seen only by God and those that receive it as love/charity. Receive it with compassion.

If we give ourselves away even to torture without love what does it profit. Without Christ's love and forgives his torture would of been in vain.Yet his love was shown even upon the cross as he cried, "Father, forgive them; they know not what they do"(Luke 23:34). Words to consider what love is as he hung dying. As he called John and his mother to take care of each as a son a mother and a mother a son(John 19).

Where is charity? "Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things"(today's beginning passage). Where is charity? when you find these things and when you give these things.

I seldom tell how I help others but I will to defend myself as my ability to give to others. It normal to minister to one's family and friends. Normal to help a stranger when able to do so. Yet subtle everyday things like helping some reach the top shelf in the store or getting a clerk to help an elderly lady at check out or find an item in a store. These things might not seem like ministry but it is. It is love to take time out to help someone.

There much we can understand through prophesy but it only shadows those things that will come to be. Yet when Christ comes he not looking for how much your brain can hold or understand as far as prophesy, he be examining your work of love.

Out of faith, hope and love is most important but with out faith you have no hope and you have only an artificial love not of God. It looking in the mirror and clearly not seeing ouselves as we truly are but the things that truly matter most to ourselves. Yet we will one day see the truth of our heart. As God reveals it all.

Dear Heavenly Fatger has you weigh our hearts to see the production of your love help us not be found in need. In Jesus precious name, Amen.
