1 John 3:18-21 KJV
18 My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.
19 And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him.
20 For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things.
21 Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God.

If we dont sinned we believe we have a justified cause because we can go confidently before God. Hold on all sin fall short of the glory of God. Ehat changed that position. Our righteousness through faith believing in the work of the cross. Yet Job who is Old Testament says the same thing before the cross. Has there been a change in God plan for salvation. Our confidence comes by faith in God and Christ Jesus.

I can call repair services and be confident I am in the right. Yet it appears by their computer I am wrong. Does it change my confidence I will prove them wrong. Definitely not. What it proves I have to be persistent and hope I get service problem resolved.

In today's world we can have confidence in God's word. We can have confidence it will come to pass. We can have confidence based solely on the word of God. His word has and will continue to be proven to people. Abraham went and claimed God's promise of land. Disciple held to the knowledge Jesus would rise again after the cross and He did.

Our confidence is not in ourselves. It has to be who God is. Job in Job 27 had confidence in God to approach his throne. To talk to God about his problem. He knew by faith his righteous was based on faith. Many people say God help me, but do they believe God is able. Do we have confidence in God to hear and do what he says he will do. I have no confidence in people because people fail they are human. People will tell you they love you and do awful mean spirited things to you.

Confident that God will come according to his will despite our dilemna. To know Christ suffering for our sins was for a purpose and now he walking streets of gold because he lives. To know we have the same hope of a better home then on this earth. We lnow because Jesus lives we can face tomorrow having confidence in His ability not ours. Because God holds our future through and by his word. It our duty to God to love and give confidence in our humanity by our truthfulness.

Dear Heavenly Father for your word and Jesus. Thank you for your hope of the confidence we can come to you. In Jesus precious name, Amen.
