Hebrews 11:1-3 KJV
1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
2 For by it the elders obtained a good report.
3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

What is faith beyond evidence of it? We must accept believe that if someone says they are going to do something, unless the power to do fails it will be accomplished. Ever called a doctors office who was suppose to make an appointment for you and what generally should take one day took three months only because the office making the arrangement drop the ball by forgetting to make the original call or sending a fax. We trust man to be sufficient in their work but things get misplaced, lost or forgotten. Worse case someone hated someone with no regards to human life.

Prophecy of Christ looks like a long delay but reality God was not only a test of faith, but preparing the world for his coming. Putting a timeline of events to come including in the world's political setup to help believers to testify from all circles of life. I do not doubt Christ return will be in such fashion but many will doubt Christ's coming. Many will be hanging on because their faith has seen or been stretch to know the power of God is not the delayed secretary but the right on time with power. Power that says I am in control and nothing you are going through for my name sake is not going to be without reward. Abraham had the evidence his mission journey had come to the land of King Abilemech as he called Abraham a prophet. His idea of huge family seen with one illigimate son and also by the holy union of his first wife in the birth of Isaac. The holy line God called to house Jesus from the begining. House not only the word of God but the Son of God that is the very word of God in flesh which came to us as a baby named Jesus.

We can understand there is Creator by the evidience of things created. We can understand God created but it does not produce faith beyond belief. Seeing his power does not make one a follower. For Israel coming out of Egypt it made them a people in need of an intercessor/Savior/Moses for they seen both God's wrath and saving grace. Yet laws and instructions needed because of the intercessor named Moses. When the Holy Spirit fills one heart the need for the intercessor of man is no longer need because you have what you need for a direct line to Jesus. The intercessor Jesus and Holy Spirit always need? Why, because they are the communication we have directly from and to God. When saved and filled with the Holy Spirit God will teach who he is to every believer. The believer no longer needs to be instruct by man in this because there is evidence to the believer to keep pressing on not only heart but mind. It the Shepherd hook that comforts in the storm and holds you in his warm embrace with truth of his word spoken by His Spirit that when we obey we see the work of God performed just like Abraham, Peter, Paul and the great men of old who had faith and yet for some it just story of impossibilities but with God all things are possible because he has Divine power. Jesus walking on water or was there stones, either way Peter was convinced if Jesus said come on He could walk on water. He did tell the waves scared him and he sunk. Faith is trustin the one with authority to do things we can not for whatever reason.

Dear Heavenly Father strengthen you children's faith. Times are hard but you provide. In Jesus precious name, Amen.
