Many Things 8/14/2024
Daily Devotions: by Christina FarrisJohn 21:25 KJV
25 And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen.66 books in the Bible, 39 in the Old Testament and 27 in the New Testament. With this one verse the reality we can not contain God's story or his Son in just these 66 books, which cause many great writers to continue to write their testimony down in books and even film reactments of their story. How does one know if another testimony has value. If it Biblical accurate the testimony is at least a testimony about one experience with the God and Savior of the Bible. A person's Biblical testimonies should contain a unchanging God/godhead. Who God is does not change through out scripture. He all powerful/omnipotent, omnipresence/always everywhere, all seeing, righteous/ holy, just and perfect despite however long it takes for a person to learn who God is despite their own humanity.
Bible is the inherent and inspired word of God that tells who God is. God is of infinite grace to the point you and I will never grasp God's love completely that it can not become or be turn to finite. Scripture is consider Holy. There is huge time frame between some books and section within books. Yet who God is never changes. God's love is consistent throughout scripture. Basically no way to write one book about everything Jesus did.
Dear Heavenly Father you meaning God(Father, Son and Holy Spirit) are a consistent God with who are through the passage of time. Thank you for never changing who you are. Thank you for the continue reveal of who you are. In Jesus precious name, Amen. Continual Scripture Study: 2 Timothy 3:14-17 KJV
14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;
15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. http://www.turtle30cshell.com
