24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:
27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.
28 And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine:
29 For he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.

What kind of house are you building upon the earth. Growing up I loved the story of the Three pigs. I am not sure 3 to 5 year olds still know this story. The story is about three pigs building a house for protection against a big bad wolf. Each built his own house. One out of straw, one out of wood and one out of bricks. Each house was destroyed but one. Each was destroy by puff of air out of the wolves mouth, the pig who lost his house went to the next strongest house made of wood. It blown down to by the big bad wolf. The last house built of brick the wolf huffed and puffed and finally gave up because the house was to strong for it to be destroyed. The other day on a documentary on Hilter the structure of how his base was built underground for protection. And my thought was, Was the devil trying to build his house to hell. It was far deep under the earth and hard to find. As everyone knows his place was blown up and no one knows for sure what happened to Hilter. His house and fortress thought to be invincible, but it was destructible.

The truth of the matter no house on earth will survive that is built by man. Though a will built house is a sign of good construction the location where a house will stand is based on the foundation laid. Each of our souls with each person deciding if they are going to build on Jesus the solid rock and the teachings of Jesus. All other foundation are not built on Jesus but on what they hope will make a good home.

God word says Christ will save you if you build your faith in him and his word. Christ is the solid rock. All others are like a house built on sinking sand. As a Christian we know are actions are not just part of our faith but a lifestyle we choose to build on. Christ foundation is not blown down though Christ and the saints were crucified, but Christ rose up and still alive today living in heaven and every believers heart. Whether we are absent or present with the Lord we are spiritually with him all day long. For there is destruction for those are not in Christ Jesus. When the storms come are you built on the foundation of Jesus. Who is like a weeble wobble but they dont fall down to destruction but rise to victory over sin and death. What you do to a believers body wont keep them in the grave for they will rise again.

Dear Heavenly Father we know all other foundation not of Christ is sinking in sand. Build your people on your word and faith in your promise being Christ Jesus is the chief cornerstone. In Jesus precious name, Amen.
