Amos 8:9-14 KJV
9 And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the Lord GOD, that I will cause the sun to go down at noon, and I will darken the earth in the clear day:
10 And I will turn your feasts into mourning, and all your songs into lamentation; and I will bring up sackcloth upon all loins, and baldness upon every head; and I will make it as the mourning of an only son, and the end thereof as a bitter day.
11 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD:
12 And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, and shall not find it.
13 In that day shall the fair virgins and young men faint for thirst.
14 They that swear by the sin of Samaria, and say, Thy god, O Dan, liveth; and, The manner of Beersheba liveth; even they shall fall, and never rise up again.

When did eclipse that Amos prophesied happen? According the Study of Scriptual Knowledge a cross reference in Blue Letter Bible said; "Usher has shown that about eleven years after Amos prophesied there were two great eclipses of the sun, one at the feast of tabernacles, and the other some time before the passover". The significance is the famine would of followed. Famine of the word of God. Now do eclipse actually bring prophetic change? Only if eclipse is prophesied. That goes back to any prophesies from God. However astrologers based their observance of change by stars and moon. What can we actually know about prophetic change from God.

We can know stars and moon display seasons. We can know with the rise of the word of God comes imitators as well as believers. If witchcraft and sorcers can fake event they well. One when God's word comes to pass the imitators want money for the event. As all good shows even apers but not believers and doers they love to put on an act and people in the thousands will show thinking God is involved. God is present in regards to the power of his word but even the antichrist knows how to munipulate scripture by the rise and fall of generations of faith and no faith. After all they study not only the stars and seasonal change but rise and fall of people of faith and how to predict similiar events holding the blind sheep astray but the world as well.

Is their truth of change after an eclipse. If God said this was a sign given to the believer of that change then you can believe it. God is going to speak to believers heart and confirm his word when it comes to pass.

Many felt a temperature change with the Eclipse is it passing by depends on if you live in the mountains and waiting for the twelveth of May cold spell. What does that mean? It normal for the earth to be cooler at night then in the sunshine of the day. Just like in mountains of Virginia in Appalachia it normal for one more cold spell to occur before summer arises because of one sea level being at a higher altitude and it been known to have snow even in summer but it does not stay around. Temptatures to high for it to last very long. It like reading the Farmer's Almanac. Planting by the moon for better crops. It based on scientific reasoning.

Is there a change coming with the eclipse perhaps but not that I know. Those that took time to see the eclipse it is a natural event God created and not unusual to witness one in a life time or more. Enjoy God's shows and know he has a purpose for displaying his creation so the world hears about it.

Dear Heavenly Father protect your children from the false prophets. Help your people understand seasonal change. May your people praise you for the beauty of your handiwork. In Jesus precious name, Amen.
