Matthew 25:30-46 KJV
30 And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:
32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:
33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?
38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?
39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
42 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:
43 I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.
44 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?
45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.
46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

Our judgment as people of faith comes swifter then we can imagine. It not only shown to the world but it reeks a judgment not of people of faith. There are sheep and there goats that are people of faith. This is judgment many with faith understand not and that why when someone says once saved always saved we need to ask the question by what merit do we enter heaven. Two things we must have to enter into heaven. Two works of grace in our life is established. Both are needed and without one there lacks evidence of faith and without the second one, one can peform with also unbelief. However on the right hand and left hand Christ calls the children of God, people of faith and people of work or no works. Right hand of works and the left hand of no works. Belief by itself is a belief in a fact or believed to be fact. Faith is belief with works. Works alone is action but it is not faith or belief. This is the easiest way to explain this. I had a short abreviation years ago, can't remember it now for this. I did it in a college speech class. I talked about faith and belief and I can not remember what the assignment was, but I took it time to preach. I wonder now looking back if my A was because of not completely obeying the subject or obeying the subject. I will never know, but I know I did pass the teacher's class.

Sometimes we define words to examine the reason something is something. Faith without works is no belief. Many people believe there is a God and they hope that will get into heaven. Faith means one has to stand on the promise of something that they will be omitted into heaven. Our eternity resting on a promise from the source of faith. If I not a Christian then is my faith in another book beside the Bible and why? I am Christian and my source of faith is the Bible. However not the Bible alone. When one has encounter with Christ the source becomes the Spirit of God and the Bible becomes the second source of faith. Yet it is what we examine or question the Spirit of God by. Question to understand what God speaks to our inner heart. Without the Bible it still possible to have faith. Those that struggle with reading can have faith Those that have reading problems can have faith. Those that are children and even adults that can not open the word yet to understand it, still can have faith because of the encounter with God's Spirit unto salvation. The need of preachers and teachers to share is always need, but without teacher or preacher of human origin God by his Spirit can still teach about himself and his Son. The simple of faith is seen in God's creation, but it does not stop there. Yet it the simplest way to see there is a Creator.

To understand faith needs only the Spirit of God and his direction, means a since of good works will be carried out as well, because if we follow the Spirit of God, God often performs good works in front of us. The need of meat and rabbit runs across the road, do you not think that God mercy in provision, if you got to figure how to catch it. Tons of deer running in town during a pandemic is not a food source. Where did the deer go that were all over the town, are they still running rapid, of course they are. The food source for our taking if necessary to survive. Think if you are hungry would you not hunt or fish, and do you think someone would stop you killing for survival, think again. The most interesting images I seen in Hurricane Katerina is people hungry standing as law abiding citizens not breaking the glass on a store window to get food. Then I realize when the cop did, that it made it okay for them to enter, it was like a grant in the storm by the superior in their life.

Many people steal for survival why it against the law. There food pantries in place to help those hungry so theft is not necessary. Everyone understands when people are down on their luck, or just can not get a break in life that they need a helping hand or starve. It keeps law abiding citizens law abiding. Then the looters came because they see one cop break one window or two to feed the needs of the people at the present moment. People begin to take the law into their own hands instead of being respectful of other people's property. Town and cities across are nation even begin to put out boxs with food and clothing items to give to those in need, and yet some still abused the gift.

When people give it should be given out of love and compassion for others. To share a meal with someone the same reason. God cares about people and we need to do likewise. God sent his Son to show he loved them, coming in the image of God's dear Son in human flesh, to demonstrate the love of God through miracles, through his power to calm the storms and to heal from diseases. Yet even his compassion was reject and not all were healed in every situation. Yet more where healed then not. How does healing come? We pray, we wait, we receive whatever God is going to do in our life concerning healing. God heals us completely when we reach eternity in our home with Jesus. Yet to be here on this earth are body is full of decay. It is healed by the power of God through medicine, through natural healing process of our bodies and also through miracles. Jesus love the world while he was here even on the cross by forgiving mankind that nailed him there.

Man compassion to forgive is not always easy, it sometimes takes an act of God. It is act of God that man does not understand completely even when received. It something learned and some treasured. Caring for people is a part of compassion of people and their needs. One can be over zealous with compassion in our world. If the wealthiest man gave all his money to the poor on the day of his death, what would those poor do, but grab it up as a looter and not full of compassion it was given, why because to give so much in abundance is seen like Christmas under the tree for every girl and boy, so many gifts with only thought of what in the package and not who gave it or the meaning of the special gift from loved ones and friends. Why because the treasure under the tree is given so freely without cost.

If Christ gave his life without cost, then would we understand the price He paid for the gift he gave. God gave a gift that man wanted rid of, without understanding the gift given. With that they sacrifice Christ, only for God to resurrected, For Christ in his own power to rise by the power given by God. For God to demonstrate his gift of love one more for forty days before Christ departure into heaven. How many give love to others despite our own pain.

A woman gave to Elijah the last of her flour and oil to make bread for him, despite the need to feed herself and her son. She gave because the Prophet asked for it and proved the one meal would not benefit her if given. Yet by her giving it became her benefit for her flour and oil never ran low until after the time of famine.

When we give our life to God because of his love for us. When we receive his word as truth and His Son as our Savior, we understand that we are to do as Christ did, to pray for the sick for healing, to give to the poor in need of our own substance and give and share what we have. Most would say there is a limit in giving and it is, for one can not out give God. However we can know that by sharing of our love and God's love we are being faithful to what we say we believe. Our belief takes action into faith, meaning we do not just believe, for the devil believes and trembles, but our faith with works demonstrate who child we are. Meaning our eternity rest in hope knowing that as a child of God we have forgiveness for sin, but also means we need to feed the hungry and do the work he has called us too. To feed the hungry, to care for the dying, to give to those in need and be reminded the even the heathens do these things but they do not believe and demonstrate there love to others is not a devil. We do these things as a part of our faith in Christ. Don't worry what the heathens are doing , do what God has called you to do. Don't waste time on those not doing their job, worry about doing yours. God going to judge and separate us as sheep and goats in the end. Are we believers or only devils that believe but care nothing for others, only what things are under the tree, and not about how riches of this world we become Christlike in his love for others.

Dear Heavenly Father help us to continue in your love not just believe. Not to be devil, but when we fail because of the pressures of this world to love to forgive to have hope, that you are standing guard of our soul to remind us of all the things Christ did for us. In Jesus precious name, Amen.
