Matthew 22:1-14 KJV
1 And Jesus answered and spake unto them again by parables, and said,
2 The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage for his son,
3 And sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and they would not come.
4 Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come unto the marriage.
5 But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his farm, another to his merchandise:
6 And the remnant took his servants, and entreated them spitefully, and slew them.
7 But when the king heard thereof, he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city.
8 Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy.
9 Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage.
10 So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was furnished with guests.
11 And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment:
12 And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless.
13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
14 For many are called, but few are chosen.

There is a time and place for fancy dress and fine suit, a wedding is one of them. Now some people choose other garments for weddings then I am accustom too. Meaning what exactly the wedding garment for some is not about the thrills on the dress, but about being comfortable and yet stylish. One girl on one of the wedding shows wore jumpsuit made for a wedding. One the first things you learn about having a wedding garment is that it must be planned for. It can not be something put on hold, one because of the cost, and two the length of time it might take to find the right dress. Some brides are satisfied with a simple garment and others will they want all the ritz and glitz. However whatever you decide to wear it still not going to be the right attire for the wedding of heaven. What we desire to look like to the world will not match the garment God designs for us to wear to the wedding of the Lamb. Meaning we can put on all the good works to adorn ourselves with but without the covering of the Lamb that was slain, we will not be fully dressed for the wedding feast of the Lamb. If we do not take up the cross and follow Jesus, we be unworthy for the wedding feast of the Lamb. Our garment must be cleansed by his blood that was shed for you and me. Some how someone got into heaven that did not belong at the wedding feast, and he is and was cast out into utter torment and destruction.

I do not know how the place of the devil was put in heaven, but he got cast out of heaven. There is a verse in scripture that says the devil home in heaven was no longer found there. The devil was part of the angels of God at one time, until he got in trouble for making himself equal to God when he tempted Eve. He thought he was beautiful but he was not. He could not marry the Lamb of God, because of his wickness. His attire adorned with sin. He was the bride of the groom and could never be, so he cast out in other torment into world not design by him or for him. If we can remember the devil has no place on earth either but he makes his home here none the less, deceiving as many as he can to do the work of evil for the fineries of life.

We must remember that as believers we called to go into the highways and byways of life. Called to lead people from all walks of life and yet all will stand before the throne of God and those not in his will be cast out of his sight. Many are called but few are chosen to inherit eternal life. Meaning what exactly, they are not chosen because they did not take up their cross and follow Jesus. The took up their life and did good, but their works had no value because they did not believe in Jesus.

There many parables Jesus tells before the Feast of the unleaven bread and the passover feast itself. In fact during this time, Jesus is with the religious leaders teaching and is with them, but they still sent soldiers with weapons to arrest him. They were with Jesus, but not spiritually with Jesus. It like going to church but not following Jesus, using the church for a social club, thinking you still are going to heaven, not understanding the need for Jesus. The preacher may even give and invitation for you to invite Jesus into your heart, but your money seems to satisfy your soul, your works seem to make you look good to the church, but your heart is still full sin, and you have yet to surrender your heart to the Lord.

Many people that obey God as far as works, but they never surrender to God because they feel the works speak and/or declares them righteous by the eyes of man and yet it makes them not righteous before God because they have no faith. If we can understand our faith in Jesus is very important to our salvation to our entering in to heaven and remaining for the wedding feast. One can bring 20 people to church but did you ask anyone to get saved. We bring them to dine, but do we bring them to Jesus. Will you share Jesus with someone today. Dear Heavenly Father open the eyes of blind to see the need of your Son in their life. The devils been cast out of his home in glory, and a place of torment is waiting for him and all that follow in his likeness even without believing in him, if they believe not in your only begotten Son. Help them to see the light of your Son, that we must be wearing the right garment to be allowed to enter the kingdom of God. The garment provide by the cross of our Savior, In Jesus precious name, Amen.

12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.
