Philippians 2:1-18 KJV
1 If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies,
2 Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.
3 Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.
4 Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.
5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
14 Do all things without murmurings and disputings:
15 That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;
16 Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain.
17 Yea, and if I be offered upon the sacrifice and service of your faith, I joy, and rejoice with you all.
18 For the same cause also do ye joy, and rejoice with me.

Enoch walked with God, and Elijah was taken by God by a chariot to heaven with the army of Israel around it, yet Christ was the only one esteemed and given a seat on the right hand of the Father, who had no problem calling himself equal or same as God because of his position in the heavenlies and in the world as the Son of God and the Word of God. He was fashion as a man and he humble himself and became obedient unto death and death even of the cross. His Father exalted him and gave him a name above every name. His name had power and would cause all men to fall to their knees before him in heaven and on earth. And with this power all would confess Jesus Christ is Lord, when does this happen for the word all to take place. It not on earth right this minute it at the end of the world, but men are already falling on their knees to God in heaven by the name of Jesus. Abraham was called righteous but he had no power but the power that God had allowed him in regards to his human life. He was giving him power through offspring that would be more then the number of stars in the sky. Power in offspring does't mean much to a man without a son, Abraham landed up with two sons. Then his hope realized, the hope God instilled in him. Power of children and power of families speak volumns but it not the power of God, that was to come.

Christ name, his authority much more so then any prophet before his time. Miracles beyond one's imagination or understanding. Yet people followed him but they would not stand with him in the temple or prevent the cross. His image beaten, and crucified brought his popularity to halt but with his resurrection and the truth spread it was like a wild fire that could not be stopped in our world even today.

His power rising in the people's heart but his power already on the throne of God and in our world today. His power by that name in which we pray in agreement to be done. That wonderful name God gave to man to give them power to ask for anything that would be according to his will in the lives of his people and the world around them. His will invoke by the power of his name. Jesus not dying but living in the lives of the people by whose name we request all things to God the Father to his glory. God called Jesus his Son and the church the bride of Christ, adopted by marriage to his Son. Mankind never being the Son or having the power to be the Son. Yet we are to form to his likeness as children of God, humbling ourselves and taking up our cross and following Jesus. It his by the authority and power of the Holy Spirit that demons flee and people are healed but the request is made through the name of Jesus.

God does many things for his people and gives gifts but the greatest gift is salvation through his Son. Yet the power of his name given by God, God invoking the authority that his people can ask according to his will. How does his children know his will, he speaks it to their heart, and speaks it to their mind and speaks it to the soul as they grow in faith in him. They learn not all things they ask for his will is not always immediately and some things happen over a course in time.

God is not going to the end the world by his word until it is time. Many today believe we are in last days, most that examine the christian history know it has been a long time since Christ departed. Yet he still with his people. He has not left or foresaken them. The world knows it as they watch the church not understanding how the church world knows. Ye the church knows not the time or the day of Christ return, only that their signs on the earth. Whether the end time for you or me is now, it matters not to anyone else but God. Christ return is important to the world and a date they want because they want to know how much evil they can spread before his return or how they can plan attack against our Lord. Their final attack is one thy want to try to the keep the world their way, not understanding Christ power is not the form of a man, but the power of God because he is the Word of God in incorruptible flesh today but corruptible flesh as he walked in our world.

Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego all walked in the fiery furance with the protection of God around their flesh, after all many soldiers died as they toss them into the furnace. Yet these men were not God but the fourth man seen was said to be God. No one knows where the fourth man came from but that the protection was around his people.

Christ seen long before he walked as a man on the earth. Do we grasp God's protection on his people until their time of demise. God puts his arms around us and we move forward in faith knowing our time is not yet. Until the final trumpet sounds, then time then will be no more as we understand it or comprehend it. We know the sounds of his coming but we do not know when the angel will blow his horn. Yet when the page is turn of our life that says it over we know that page is turned is for us to depart this earthly shell we live in and go be with God and his Son in the heavenlies until the day of Christ returns with his people to gather rest of the saints to go with him to live in a place built and prepared for his people.

God gives his children knowledge, wisdom and understanding if we ask. We can rejoice knowing that Christ is coming soon. We can rejoice know our Savior lives. We are to put on the cloak of harmless children to the world. Does not mean we do not defend ourselves in appropiate manner or defend ourselves against an attack. We are not going to wage war we just about sharing the offering God is making to the world, that same eternal hope we have to the world. We are God's spokesmen to the world as believers. God gives us power by Jesus' name to see the people healed and the sickness to flee. Yet do we pray, do we obey as believers. The move of God must begin with God's people having confidence in the name of Jesus and the faith in the power of that name, never knowing what God will do, but knowing God's healing can come to all people. Always spiritual but not always physical or mental until heaven. Why is not all healing immediately, I have no clue, but I do know this if the government seen limbs growing back that worked normally and quadplegics walking without medical involvement in the process they would have a hard time believing it or finding a way to give account for it. Maybe in all truth God wants to shock the world but he knows the world not ready for the shock that his power in its fullness can bring to the world. With that in mind we praying knowing God ability to do more then we ask in that precious name of Jesus.

Name only a Father can give a Son. A name that has authority and power in his eternal business. If a Father and son work together, when the son matures enough in the business world, he is given the authority and power of being boss. Jesus did not have to grow into the position, that position was already his. He had to humble himself to be like one of us, to not go forth to solve all the problems of the world, while walking among us. Those that watch sitcoms remember Bewitch, and everytime they had a problem they used their power to solve it only causing more problems, because they knew not how there power would effect another. God knows how his power effects us, and we know how Christ power moves in the lives of the saints. One healing can cause people to wonder why that one healed and not another. Can cause even the question why is God blessing this way and not this way. People heart not intuned to the ways of faith, causing confusion, causing lack of understanding in our world. Yet God in his wisdom can heal by his power all in the world, but he knows they will go back and injure themselves just to see if he will do it again. How many have fallen and scraped a knee as a child or had an accident that stopped them from doing whatever caused the accident. The fear of reinjury greater then the concept that it an accident not necessarily the cause of the accident may not even been one's own wrecklessness.

How many can love without question? A stranger yes, but someone we know and have history with it can be much harder at times. Why because the past defines our responses of love, anger and emotion when around other people. We do not turn memories off as quickly. When we pray in the name of Jesus and we seem not to have a response from God, he maybe doing an eternal spiritual work that going to solve the problem that we can not see, but we remember the problem we can see. Then one day little by little we see a change in a person. Maybe not even what we asked, but it seem to make everything else no longer matter. The heart of the issue solved the person becomes a better human.

Some miracles are instant and some healing God begins the eternal work to rewire the person's mind and thinking and not discluding attitudes. When we ask in Jesus name, by God's Spirit we might not understand what God is doing, we just must trust in God to handle the problem or solve the situation. Are we running the race knowing God's Son came in human flesh to show the world who he is and that he full of compassion for man. Are we running as we pray seeing the move of God in the lives of individuals? We must hold on to the word of faith knowing that as we run, that God going to do a work in the lives of others. Paul did not want his race to be in vain as he shared the Gospels of Jesus, he wanted to know God's word was going forth and changing lives.

Dear Heavenly Father, help us to know your word, your Son's name is going forth before us in the power of your Spirit to change the lives of those around us, even when we do not always understand how or when things will change. In Jesus precious name, Amen.
