What Would You Do If God Asked You? Lesson 6 8/06/2023
Daily Devotions: by Christina FarrisJohn 9:30-41 KJV
30 The man answered and said unto them, Why herein is a marvellous thing, that ye know not from whence he is, and yet he hath opened mine eyes.
31 Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth.
32 Since the world began was it not heard that any man opened the eyes of one that was born blind.
33 If this man were not of God, he could do nothing.
34 They answered and said unto him, Thou wast altogether born in sins, and dost thou teach us? And they cast him out.
35 Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and when he had found him, he said unto him, Dost thou believe on the Son of God?
36 He answered and said, Who is he, Lord, that I might believe on him?
37 And Jesus said unto him, Thou hast both seen him, and it is he that talketh with thee.
38 And he said, Lord, I believe. And he worshipped him.
39 And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind.
40 And some of the Pharisees which were with him heard these words, and said unto him, Are we blind also?
41 Jesus said unto them, If ye were blind, ye should have no sin: but now ye say, We see; therefore your sin remaineth.
The fifty year old man that was born blind was healed by Jesus, yet the religious leaders were dumbfounded by it as to how this man was healed by God. Some religious leaders believed Jesus was a devil. The blind man said to them it is a marvellous thing, that you do not know who he is, "yet he has opened my eyes". The religious leaders being got caught up if something be of God. The stories of miracles were taught that the prophets did do, but they knew not who Jesus was and yet he did miracles. I think about false prophets that do seem to do miracles today and have to ask, is that of God, well you have to ask something more then what did Jesus tell us about the antichrist and that in last days he have the power to heal. Something for us to think on. Remember Jesus said there be people that would preach in his name and do miracles but would not know him. Were the religious leaders with this mind set that something was wrong because of other things being done. After all disciples picked corn on the Sabbath. David and his men ate the shew bread, but what happened to the Priest that aided David and his men with the shew bread, they lost their life to King Saul who branded them a trader. Conflict who side are you on, and so after David would show Saul he could of killed him in a cave, but did not, and desired peace with King Saul. Both called by God but King Saul inflicted by an evil Spirit because of disobedience to God. Priesthood was examing actions, words and deeds by Jesus and his disciples. Godly actions are often signs of a good person but not always. Even the worse criminals know how to talk to get out of trouble if never caused trouble in an area before. If shopkeepers know that a person is a trouble maker then that person is branded as such. To the crowd of onlookers Jesus was a miracle worker and people praised God in many instance of any miracles that were done. Today with the antichrist among us are we praising God for miracles or the ministers that do the miracles. Crowd may not of understood who Jesus was, but they knew who had healed the man that it was of God.
I live in area where I seen ministers look highly upon because of there work they do for people in the community. There place given not because of laziness but their care for the people. Yet there others that come through only looking for a buck, and everything they can take from a person in their own greed. When I was little I can remember hearing minister at a minister meeting comparing how much their people paid them. For a poor minister this is nothing but the devils work when salary is being measured by people gratitude or worthiness of a ministers work or worth. The value people set is not the value God sets on his ministers/servants. Jesus seen the man that was born blind and had compassion on him and healed him.
He did not just heal him, he allowed him to go through the fire of the religious leaders who cast the blind man out. Jesus came up beside him and ask him did he know who the Son of God was? Who is he Lord is what the man said. No doubt he recognized Jesus voice, but did not know him, yet he called him Lord title of nobility or willing to follow and serve for he was able to see. Jesus said you have seen him and it is who talks with you, I am he. The man worshipped Jesus. This is one place in scripture that Jesus declares his Sonship to God, and not only his Sonship but he does not stop the man from worshipping him. This was declared right in front of the relgious leaders within in the temple, the same ones that cast the man out.
Jesus said his judgment came into the world to help the blind to see and those that see would become blind. Religious leaders wanted to know if they were blind and Jesus tells them they were blind, they do see, but they understood not their blindness remained. If God's word is powerful even the devils that use God's word will see healing by the power of God's word alone, but they have no relationship with God. This goes for anyone sharing the word of God and not understanding the power of the word of God alone. Gideons Internation understood only they need to leave a track or a Bible. And the work of God would be done by anyone willing to read it. They leave it in many places. If nothing more but a gateway to know God and Christ Jesus. People just have to pass the word of God along. Trust in God and his word and worship the Son of God, Holy Spirit and not least God, then we are in submission to the Almighty. Jesus asked the man that was born blind if he knew who the Son of God was. He did not know but Jesus freely told him. Where are you in knowing who the Son of God is and his name being Jesus, the Messiah, the anointed(Christ), and so on and so forth, every name including the Prince of Peace, mighty God, Immanuel and so on.
Jesus Christ himself instructs us to worship him. Yet do we worship him? I can not answer for you. However I worship God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit, who are three in one. No one can make the choice to worship Jesus, God and the Holy Spirit. Yet we can come to understanding how they are one and yet seen in three persons. They same persons as God spoke to others in the garden that were equal to him, becoming like one of us in Genesis 3 before God kicked Adam and Eve from the Garden. To know God spoke to someone else in the garden and they were one and equal to his knowledge of right and wrong.
Dear Heavenly Father, we know Christ is from above, and yet he came in the form of a baby. Let worship Jesus and adore him and give him honor and praise for He is your one and only Son. In Jesus precious name, Amen.

27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
