Acts 2:22-47 KJV
22 Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:
23 Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:
24 Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it.
25 For David speaketh concerning him, I foresaw the Lord always before my face, for he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved:
26 Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope:
27 Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.
28 Thou hast made known to me the ways of life; thou shalt make me full of joy with thy countenance.
29 Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day.
30 Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;
31 He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.
32 This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.
33 Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.
34 For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,
35 Until I make thy foes thy footstool.
36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.
37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?
38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.
40 And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.
41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.
42 And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.
43 And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles. 44 And all that believed were together, and had all things common;
45 And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.
46 And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,
47 Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

Can dead men live? According to scripture most resurrections happened with flesh on the body. Christ body did not see decay, nor did his spirit remain in hell, in fact when Christ arose he rose to graves opened and dry bones laying around because of the earthquake. You and I can talk about raising of people with flesh but when we begin to talk about the rising and reconnecting of bones from the four winds, we must ask what is happening that would cause such an event. It either the resurrection after Christ rose first or it is the time of Christ return. New Orleans hurricane shocked the world as bodies came out of their casket because of the water had filled up the holes where caskets were buried and raised right out of the grave. Not only out of the grave but taken down past the flooding area and wrecking and breaking open. I sure some wonder if the day of reckoning/ end times revolution. Yet what was witness part of natural event in time and not the last day events. Actually the problem in New Orleans really is not so in common in cementaries, the song There Aint No Grave Can Hold My Body Down by Johnny Cash. Was it scripture or may a combination of seeing some of this taking place as part of problems of grave yards in bad weather. Grave yard people rebury and redo a grave hoping it doesn't happen again. With lock vaults and so forth weighing much resting assure it will not occur in modern burial. We smile and think on the day of the final resurrection of both saints first and then the lost and know the bodies will not remain in the grave as man has built for them. I do not mean digging through King Tut tomb, or other Pharoah, I talking about the resurrection because of God's wrath to come.

Christ body did not see decay, but there were decay bodies that rosed at the time of Christ to march into Jerusalem. Bodies put back together during the time Christ was in the grave, and as he came out of the tomb and walked through the grave yard breath of life was given to the dead and they marched into Jerusalem, only to be taken heavenward with Christ first ascension, the ascension that happened before Mary could touch him to see if Jesus was alive in John 21. Matthew 27 skim to the cross and the earthquake when bodies came out of the grave. You see the resurrection that occured after Christ arose. In Ezekiel, his vision of dry bones, that bones would have flesh put back on them. The grave could not hold their body down. Today many people rest in the thought of the grave and to be spiritually at home with the Lord. Many people are will wait on this thought, but never grasp our bodies will not remain in the grave. Those who past on in old age wait for that day of rest and to be with the Lord spiritually if they did not see the rapture of the saints before that time of their earthly demise. Nothing wrong with the desire to want to be with the Lord either spiritually or physically which ever way God brings us home is fine with most saints of God. They will remain until God comes to take them to be with him.

Peter is speaking of Christ flesh not seeing decay in Acts but I can not help but think did he continue with all that occurred for not everything going to be mentioned persay in all he preached but hinted or clue given perhaps it was spoken. These were people that had seen the events, maybe had remained cleaning up any evidence remaining in the streets and the graveyards wondering in bewilderment. Yet here is the answer 40 days and about week later at the coming of the Holy Spirit and the calling of the people in Jerusalem who spoke many languages. As our President went before the crowd on 911 and other natural disasters Like President Biden has done with each state that had a major disaster in even recent days, standing and speaking to the crowd of people looking to their president for hope and understanding of the situation that occured. Hope in the knowledge help was available. Help would come and not just be a by word. For some it is truly a by word and for others it was truly words of hope in a community needing aid and assistance.

Yet here Roman government head leaders are many days away, and government is claiming nothing unusual happened because of the earthquakes and here people had witness these events and Peter stand and begins to preach about who Jesus was, an approve prophet by the people because of the miracles and signs and wonders, but he goes on to say he is the very one that was to take the throne of the vision of David saying my Lord says to my Lord as they sit on the throne. Speaking of the one man with authority of God that David could not hold a candle to. David body seen decay, but Christ body seen no decay as it rose from the tomb.

Peter continues to preach about how they had crucified Jesus and when they heard they wanted to know what could they do about it and Peter said to repent and be saved everyone of them in the name of the Lord Jesus. and many repented on that day and receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and the infilling of the Holy Spirit. The church began to grow and help each other.

Nothing could hold God's word down. Nothing could hold Jesus down. The dirt might of held the bodies of saints before down but now their bones grew flesh and they rose up out of the grave as a witness in Jerusalem. They March and seen the veil was torn down between the sanctuary and the Holies of Holies. They were their as a testimony to the religious leaders.

What would you have thought if the skeltons had not been found with the caskets and the bones not remaining despite their being resurrected. The dead in body are still with us, but those spirits are in their final resting place in heaven or hell. Where would you be if you died tonight where would your soul be? Would it be with Jesus. To have Jesus in one's heart and to be filled by the Holy Spirit to indwelling the believer is to be present with God in the flesh and if dead in heaven with him. Do you know when you work on earth is done and God calls you home where will you be going, to place of everlasting life or eternity in lake of fire?

Dont' be disturb by the events of life in fear of it, but be in awe of the reminders God puts in place of what has hapen in the world long before us and that his miracles come to those that call upon him, seek, search and desire to be in his will for their life. That miracles of answer prayers come to the believers. Keep praying saints for there many that are saying lady you lost your mind today for sure and I will tell them Jesus lives and he lives within my heart. Holy Spirit is to help teach us the hidden nuggets of our faith in Jesus. The early church heard a speech, but it was more then the speech that caused people to repent it was because they knew what Peter spoke concerning Jesus was real.

Dear Heavenly Father help our unbelief, help us to know the victory that occured as you rose from the grave and your flesh not seeing corruption, Nor your spirit remain in hell. Thank you for setting the captives free. Knowing they no longer remain in those grave but a witness to Jerusalem of your redeem grace. In Jesus precious name, Amen.

6 And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
7 So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone.
8 And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came up upon them, and the skin covered them above: but there was no breath in them.
9 Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live.
10 So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army.
11 Then he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: behold, they say, Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: we are cut off for our parts.
12 Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel.
13 And ye shall know that I am the LORD, when I have opened your graves, O my people, and brought you up out of your graves,
14 And shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I the LORD have spoken it, and performed it, saith the LORD.

1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 KJV
13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
