Psalm 16:1-11 KJV
1 Michtam of David. Preserve me, O God: for in thee do I put my trust.
2 O my soul, thou hast said unto the LORD, Thou art my Lord: my goodness extendeth not to thee;
3 But to the saints that are in the earth, and to the excellent, in whom is all my delight.
4 Their sorrows shall be multiplied that hasten after another god: their drink offerings of blood will I not offer, nor take up their names into my lips.
5 The LORD is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: thou maintainest my lot.
6 The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage.
7 I will bless the LORD, who hath given me counsel: my reins also instruct me in the night seasons.
8 I have set the LORD always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.
9 Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope.
10 For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.
11 Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

Preserve me first verse in Psalm 16. It was because David put his trust in the Lord. I glad I did not see this verse til this morning. I forgotten it or where the cup of coffee that lines my pages idea came from. Coffee is dry good staple in it dry state it is something that is preserved for a long time. Many foods can be preserved either with freezing or canning. Potatoes can be canned and used. No more potato rottening in storage that way, only saying to long on a shelf. How much world has changed since the pandemics, but it even changed even more with the shifting of chang in our own government with rise of each political leaders. Our believe in reality that our political leaders are doing they best they can with each situation that is presented, or I want to believe that. Can the economy be preserved without the rising of gas price yo yoing in a crazy fashion. In truth the world does not know. We hold to the hope that things will be better. Electric cars have their downfall and their ability to perserve even greater. Could solar pannels in the home be used to energize these vehicles? I do not know. I know solar pannels have been explored for years for energy source but unclear if they perserve enough energy to fuel a vehicle in one location. How much energy would it take to be stored to fuel more then one vehicle, could wind turbines in a yard and solar pannel cut and save the fuel cost, or would it cause a crisis in the world. Could people that work out in gyms fuel a platform of batteries for fuel, okay maybe a little to much television(Gilland Island).

We work hard all day to preserve things we eat, drive, and even use without home by taking care of it. Do we preserve our life with the way we care for it and take of it. Does the need of God to preserve us seem as real today as it did going through health issue, seeing a love one pass one, or the life of the new born held in his mother's arms. Preservation of life some understand not that abortion kills, euthasia kills, and preplanned death before the body has need of expiration. Where is our hope in the Lord to preserve what we can not control. I have been through to many health crisis to not recognize God preservation in my own life, but to ask of others do you see God's preservation of your life? Do you know where you might of been if God had not intervened and saved your soul? Not a believer it is time to allow God to preserve your soul.

One way we preserve ourselves is by obeying God's word. To worship God alone and not drink the blood of any sacrifice. If we talk about the golden rules, we find thou shalt not covet your neighbors wife, shalt not commit adultry, and thou shalt not kill. If you kill you not preserving the life of another. The golden rule to love God first, and others as you love yourself. Our preservation as we trust in God has to do not only with his will, but our ability to allow God to change us for his glory. Creating that new creation to be used in God's work in God's timing. You might feel, your not doing the work of the Lord in any fashion, but whatever God calls you to do, in whatever form is in service to God by one's actions and life style at the least. Part of our own preservation is to protect the life and not to kill it. To look both ways when crossing a road to make sure no oncoming traffic will think you are in the way and hit you.

Simple things of faith, prayer time, focus on mediation of praise and God's Holy Word so it resounds in one's heart. The answer is fixed within the borders of the heart. God will not leave us in the grave(hell), or suffer himself to see corruption but he will remove the corruption on the earth. God preserves the earth for a time, despite the things going wrong upon it. He preserves it because of the people of faith. This month much evil is talked about, and children learn about evil as well as having fun learning about evil. Evil will not preserve the heart and soul of man, it will be destroyed. Only faith in Christ Jesus will preseve the soul not by our power but his alone, if we have faith, but by the power of God's eternal salvation plan for man, to trust in Jesus, to believe his word, and to believe he can preserve us into eternity and beyond. That he will care for us even in times of illness, and distress.

David knew what was to be preserved by God, for he faced lions and bears in the sheep field as a boy. He knew what it was to face giants, and other men of war in battle, and he knew what it was to face the king in danger for his life as javelin came buzzing by his head. He knew the call of God on his life long before he took the crown. He obeyed the one that was called by God before him and served him well. His life preserved because of God's protection and ability to make clear he did not want war with the king. Yet as king he took the throne and power and continue to preserve life within the kingdom. Heaven and earth will pass away but he will preserve his people. Our job is to trust and hav faith in God and his Son Christ Jesus. To follow after the Spirit of God to not fall in the trap of the devil.

Dear Heavenly preserve us and keep us in your Holy Word, help us to trust in you for our preservation. In Jesus precious name, Amen.
