Whoever Praises God The Door Of Salvation Is Open 6/09/2022
Daily Devotions: by Christina FarrisPsalm 50:1-23 KJV
1 A Psalm of Asaph. The mighty God, even the LORD, hath spoken, and called the earth from the rising of the sun unto the going down thereof.
2 Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God hath shined.
3 Our God shall come, and shall not keep silence: a fire shall devour before him, and it shall be very tempestuous round about him.
4 He shall call to the heavens from above, and to the earth, that he may judge his people.
5 Gather my saints together unto me; those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice.
6 And the heavens shall declare his righteousness: for God is judge himself. Selah.
7 Hear, O my people, and I will speak; O Israel, and I will testify against thee: I am God, even thy God.
8 I will not reprove thee for thy sacrifices or thy burnt offerings, to have been continually before me.
9 I will take no bullock out of thy house, nor he goats out of thy folds.
10 For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills.
11 I know all the fowls of the mountains: and the wild beasts of the field are mine.
12 If I were hungry, I would not tell thee: for the world is mine, and the fulness thereof.
13 Will I eat the flesh of bulls, or drink the blood of goats?
14 Offer unto God thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the most High:
15 And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.
16 But unto the wicked God saith, What hast thou to do to declare my statutes, or that thou shouldest take my covenant in thy mouth?
17 Seeing thou hatest instruction, and castest my words behind thee.
18 When thou sawest a thief, then thou consentedst with him, and hast been partaker with adulterers. 19 Thou givest thy mouth to evil, and thy tongue frameth deceit.
20 Thou sittest and speakest against thy brother; thou slanderest thine own mother's son.
21 These things hast thou done, and I kept silence; thou thoughtest that I was altogether such an one as thyself: but I will reprove thee, and set them in order before thine eyes.
22 Now consider this, ye that forget God, lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver.
23 Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me: and to him that ordereth his conversation aright will I shew the salvation of God.
Have you ever had problems with making conversation, it seems like you passing endless gossip and not speaking things that are beneficial to the other person. Example of this would be warning about a person, or speaking what someone else told you about someone. With no evidence unless it from someone you know their judgment sound. Average person is probably truthful to their friends or associates they desire to keep. Yet gossip is often the downfall of any truthful man, woman, boy or girl that thinks it valuable as jewels to know the latest gossip. We all listen but their much knowledge without facts. Much facts without knowledge as well. God not please with idol tales that tear people apart. This is only one thing that pleases not God, but God will and does forgive, because those the fix their conversation aright will he show them salvation of God.
Now I want to ask how many can speak every word of God fluently, but how many cast it over the shoulder as if it was yesterday news. God's word is precious, but it is even more precious when we obey it. No one is perfect. No one obeys God 100%, but the truth of the matter there things that can be rid of, by hard work to do so. It is work to obey God. It maybe a choice to obey God but even harder to learn to strive to obey God. We fail to realize often times our desire to speak evil instead of the good things of God or the good things in general, is of the enemy. It also our adultery in our relationship to God. Now that sounds like cruel words. but if we know man aligns one actions with the devil they are now homosexual in their relationship to the devil. A person that is a child of God can not become united or intwine with the devil, because they become active in act not becoming a child of God, when they become idle gossippers and mischievous acts. Often hell is a picture of a place Satan has dominion or power for eternity, but remember hell is destroyed. Satan and his angels can not be continual force, for they will be thrown into the eternal lake of fire that burns forever and ever. In that lake are people of destructruction of society. People that have chosen not to change their ways. What that means while on earth you can sing the praises of God and God going to open his plan of salvation to you. He going to show you how you can be saved. He going to teach you about his word about his Savior and only begotten Son name Jesus, that whosoever believes in Jesus will be saved. Believe being the action one must first decide on, the second is to believe the word of God, and not to continue in your sin that Christ died for. Do you really believe the word of God.
It is true the believer life is a work in progress, so our sin nature has been destroyed by the work on the cross and our desire should be to live for Jesus. How often our actions do not live up to what they should. If our actions tell our old nature then we are not living in our new nature. Even the devil will say Praise the Lord with his lips but not his action. Devil destruction is already in full swing of the clock ticking to the final judgment day. Your timer is ticking to eternity with or without God right now. You can make a choice to live for God today. If you already believe you can decide to obey God word not just to believe. For the devil believes and trembles. Faith without works is dead. To obey God's word with belief is called faith.
However it also says that God will open salvation to all that praise him and glorifies him. For the unbeliever you have hope, that if you praise the Lord, you come to the knowledge of the saving grace of Jesus Christ. Knowledge of obeying God, first with believing he sent his Son to be the Savior of the world and peacemaker between man and God. Second to learn to obey him because of his love for us. Because we learn to love him for the gift of eternal life given to every man. Before we were facing the pit called hell, and the eternal lake of fire. Let us praise and glorify God so we can do his will, and live in obedience to him.
Dear Heavenly Father we come to you believing your Son died on the cross for my sin and the sin of the world. Lord to those who never received your salvation, I ask you to open their eyes to see the truth of your word. In Jesus precious name Amen.
Continual Scripture Study: James 2:1-26 KJV
1 My brethren, have not the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, with respect of persons.
2 For if there come unto your assembly a man with a gold ring, in goodly apparel, and there come in also a poor man in vile raiment;
3 And ye have respect to him that weareth the gay clothing, and say unto him, Sit thou here in a good place; and say to the poor, Stand thou there, or sit here under my footstool:
4 Are ye not then partial in yourselves, and are become judges of evil thoughts?
5 Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him?
6 But ye have despised the poor. Do not rich men oppress you, and draw you before the judgment seats?
7 Do not they blaspheme that worthy name by the which ye are called?
8 If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well:
9 But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors.
10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.
11 For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law.
12 So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty.
13 For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment.
14 What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?
15 If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food,
16 And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?
17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.
19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.
20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?
21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?
22 Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?
23 And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.
24 Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.
25 Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way?
26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.
