Hosea 13:12-14 KJV
12 The iniquity of Ephraim is bound up; his sin is hid.
13 The sorrows of a travailing woman shall come upon him: he is an unwise son; for he should not stay long in the place of the breaking forth of children.
14 I will ransom them from the power of the grave; I will redeem them from death: O death, I will be thy plagues; O grave, I will be thy destruction: repentance shall be hid from mine eyes.

What is faith this morning? Faith to be redeemed by God. Faith is seen in the story of Moses through the wilderness, and yet we see Noah with faith to believe God would redeem him from the destruction that was coming through the building of ark out of obedience to God. What is faith? Faith is more then just believing in existence of God, but the power of his word will come to pass in our life or life time, or time after or time before. I got to thinking about faith last night as I slept. I woke thinking on faith and what holds us in check to know that what we ourselves believe is enough hope of just Christ coming a second time to redeem his people into eternity. Spiritual walk of faith is what I talking about to have that hope of the prophetic word that is, will be and stand for the test of time.

If we examine the people in exile, an example of people from generation of Adam to even now, but to at least the time period of Israel who Hosea speaking to concerning the tribe of Ephraim, son of Joseph, whose own faith by faith receive the promise of being reunited his family and seeing his family bow to him. When I think what God told me if I follow him, the pathway would be hard but my hope was eternal. Exile does not meant that one can not be forgiven if one has sinned, it only means that sin is only removed by the word of God. Abiding in faith going into exile because of the sin of a nation, can only mean rescue from the earthly hell of exile from prosperity, because your hope of faith in eternity is already in place. Spiritual faith is what makes one righteous, but not it alone the sacrifice of sin must be offered, the payment of sin given.

God's word to Moses to lift up the brass snake in the wilderness, saved those who were bitten that looked upon the serpent. Yet we see something the brass snake did nothing, but God's word did everything. God's word protected Noah. God's word of deliverance went to Israel going into exile. Do we have to go into exile to receive the promise of hope, no the promise is for all generation that God will redeem his people. God redeem the people with his Son. Are you in spiritual exile because of sin, or only in exile because of original sin of Adam and Eve?

Examine your life? Give your heart to Jesus if you have not, for he his your redeemer today. Israel waited for the hope of God redemption through his word, but a price had to be paid the sacrifice of his word. Meaning his Son had to die for our comfort. We live in world ruled by man. Man's laws do not always reflect God's laws. We have laws even in our own government that against God to a point. The law allows sin of the people in different areas of life, by permitting freedom of all people and rights of all people. Yet the government is also covered by Romans 1 in regards God allowed man to worship graven images and did not destroy them. He allowed their own evil to rise up to one day be destroyed. Idolatry of God the Father is in our land, it been here before the first settlers from Europe. Yet God's mercy abounds in our nation. One plague, a bunch of disasterous in recent decades. Does this all come because of communication no longer being trapped by distance and red tap. Every state in our own union needs to ask is the disasters normal for that region or is this a new phemonenon of record portions. Are we in last days, or is it a hoax by the nations of the world to try and force the coming of Christ to being a hoax and not a reality. To allow science to rule instead of God.

Science is often preceived as a tool used to fix everything if study til a solution is found that works and bring destruction to the problem forever. What science can not do, is produce wine out water, healing from looking at a serpent pole, healing from sin because of the cross of Jesus through faith. Protection from a 100 year proclaimation of disaster coming. Some things we take on faith and God alone the only one can rescue us through his prophesy of his word. And when God promises eternal life and redemption through the Savior Jesus, and we deny this power we are lost? How can a person deny God? If God faithful to give all generation hope and promise of redemption before and after his Son was born who are we to deny such a great salvation through faith. Science can not promise tomorrow because hypothetically, they do not know how long their solution will last, but God has the solution for eternity. We map out destruction and wonder do I need to repent now or do I have time before the second coming of Christ? No way do we do this, we are neglecting his salvation if we do.

Life is hard. It harder without Christ. It harder with the knowledge of loving Father in heaven who willing sent his Son to redeem us from the curse of the law. He will ransome us from the grave because we continued in faith. Jesus was ransomed from the grave because of his obedience to his Father. Not because of his disobedience to man. You can not obey God and man both, but sometimes people obey neither. The criminal on the street obeys who, the devil that told him to break the law, or themselves. Who tells you to break God's law of faith, your heart, your brain, the devil made you do it? God can speak to each of us about faith, then we know our choice of faith comes solely because what God spoke to us was true, when we sought and obey him. How much more do we need to know.

Ransome is paying the cost of having to deal with the devil's law and not obeying God. Even the government tried to wash their hands of the devils that wanted to crucify Jesus. Yet the crowd only rose up in anger never examining the truth. Christ being sacrifice for the will of the devil, and Christ arising having victory over the grave gave hope to the believers at the grave to spread that hope to all mankind. It still spreading today, That God will redeem us from the corruption of our world. If we see the grave he able to resurrect us. He able to rapture the church through hope in the promise return of Christ. Where is our hope in the promises of God or in the science that can do nothing but try and produce hope through labs with giant freezers filled with the dead.

Dear Heavenly Father, you are the great I am, the redeemer of all your children that put their faith in you, despites that laws of man and the laws of devil. Help us to have faith obey your word knowing you speak truth and there is hope for eternity. In Jesus precious name, Amen.
