No Bread Just Biscuits 07/18/2022

1 And when the people complained, it displeased the LORD: and the LORD heard it; and his anger was kindled; and the fire of the LORD burnt among them, and consumed them that were in the uttermost parts of the camp.
2 And the people cried unto Moses; and when Moses prayed unto the LORD, the fire was quenched.
3 And he called the name of the place Taberah: because the fire of the LORD burnt among them.
4 And the mixt multitude that was among them fell a lusting: and the children of Israel also wept again, and said, Who shall give us flesh to eat?
5 We remember the fish, which we did eat in Egypt freely; the cucumbers, and the melons, and the leeks, and the onions, and the garlick:
6 But now our soul is dried away: there is nothing at all, beside this manna, before our eyes.
7 And the manna was as coriander seed, and the colour thereof as the colour of bdellium.
8 And the people went about, and gathered it, and ground it in mills, or beat it in a mortar, and baked it in pans, and made cakes of it: and the taste of it was as the taste of fresh oil.
9 And when the dew fell upon the camp in the night, the manna fell upon it.
10 Then Moses heard the people weep throughout their families, every man in the door of his tent: and the anger of the LORD was kindled greatly; Moses also was displeased.
11 And Moses said unto the LORD, Wherefore hast thou afflicted thy servant? and wherefore have I not found favour in thy sight, that thou layest the burden of all this people upon me?
12 Have I conceived all this people? have I begotten them, that thou shouldest say unto me, Carry them in thy bosom, as a nursing father beareth the sucking child, unto the land which thou swarest unto their fathers?
13 Whence should I have flesh to give unto all this people? for they weep unto me, saying, Give us flesh, that we may eat.
14 I am not able to bear all this people alone, because it is too heavy for me.
15 And if thou deal thus with me, kill me, I pray thee, out of hand, if I have found favour in thy sight; and let me not see my wretchedness.
16 And the LORD said unto Moses, Gather unto me seventy men of the elders of Israel, whom thou knowest to be the elders of the people, and officers over them; and bring them unto the tabernacle of the congregation, that they may stand there with thee.
17 And I will come down and talk with thee there: and I will take of the spirit which is upon thee, and will put it upon them; and they shall bear the burden of the people with thee, that thou bear it not thyself alone.
18 And say thou unto the people, Sanctify yourselves against to morrow, and ye shall eat flesh: for ye have wept in the ears of the LORD, saying, Who shall give us flesh to eat? for it was well with us in Egypt: therefore the LORD will give you flesh, and ye shall eat.
19 Ye shall not eat one day, nor two days, nor five days, neither ten days, nor twenty days;
20 But even a whole month, until it come out at your nostrils, and it be loathsome unto you: because that ye have despised the LORD which is among you, and have wept before him, saying, Why came we forth out of Egypt?
21 And Moses said, The people, among whom I am, are six hundred thousand footmen; and thou hast said, I will give them flesh, that they may eat a whole month.
22 Shall the flocks and the herds be slain for them, to suffice them? or shall all the fish of the sea be gathered together for them, to suffice them?
23 And the LORD said unto Moses, Is the LORD'S hand waxed short? thou shalt see now whether my word shall come to pass unto thee or not.
24 And Moses went out, and told the people the words of the LORD, and gathered the seventy men of the elders of the people, and set them round about the tabernacle.
25 And the LORD came down in a cloud, and spake unto him, and took of the spirit that was upon him, and gave it unto the seventy elders: and it came to pass, that, when the spirit rested upon them, they prophesied, and did not cease.
26 But there remained two of the men in the camp, the name of the one was Eldad, and the name of the other Medad: and the spirit rested upon them; and they were of them that were written, but went not out unto the tabernacle: and they prophesied in the camp.
27 And there ran a young man, and told Moses, and said, Eldad and Medad do prophesy in the camp.
28 And Joshua the son of Nun, the servant of Moses, one of his young men, answered and said, My lord Moses, forbid them.
29 And Moses said unto him, Enviest thou for my sake? would God that all the LORD'S people were prophets, and that the LORD would put his spirit upon them!
30 And Moses gat him into the camp, he and the elders of Israel.
31 And there went forth a wind from the LORD, and brought quails from the sea, and let them fall by the camp, as it were a day's journey on this side, and as it were a day's journey on the other side, round about the camp, and as it were two cubits high upon the face of the earth.
32 And the people stood up all that day, and all that night, and all the next day, and they gathered the quails: he that gathered least gathered ten homers: and they spread them all abroad for themselves round about the camp.
What is is like for everyone with the price increase in the supermarket, what you use to pay with ten dollars probably cost you about five. That is a major increase. Gas prices still yo yoing, we see the economy not stablizing as it should, but will it? No one knows the answer but God, because he has the road map to our nation and nations around the world. What that means economist will do their math and predict and forcast what will happen and God will cause them to be humbled by his hand. In truth the economic recovery will take more time then forecasted, because they missing one ingredient that is the ingredient that is called God's economics. How many know they can go a little bit further then predicted and yet God knows how much flour cornmeal it takes to feed a family. God sent Hebrew people that were hungry manna from heaven. The other day I bought stuff to make biscuits why, because the cost of gas to go anywhere even in emergency has been to high to imagine that even getting a loaf of bread has to be decided on. I do not ask you for money but I ask for you to continue to help those in need that have it that read this site. Main reason, people as their belts tighten and new clothes will need to be purchased or going to find a needle and thread to take clothing in because the cost of bread is too high and the cost of meat is to high. I have been blessed to find that right sale at the right time, but it has not always been that way for me and I skim grocery shelves and wonder what is going to happen to people. My trip I want to take is impossible with my budget, but I plan to find a way to go. I have some people important to me I want to see and so some how I will get there, only if it is in the Lord's will for me to travel. The tarp I purchased over five years ago for our tent, that is finally almost finished. I have hopes and dreams like everyone else.
Israel had hopes and dreams and they did not have the local grocery store to go to when they were in the need of bread. God sent them manna. The bread was getting old after weeks of eating it over and over again, the story begins in Exodus 16 when they cried for bread. Now they were in need of meat. God would send quail. I started making bread last month, God provided ten pounds of ground beef for my freezer. It not about ten pounds, God provided for us in many ways over the years. Sometimes we had good years and sometimes bad. Sometimes we had to tighten our belt and sometimes discover we were in need of good old fashion sunlight. To much indoors is unhealthy too.
What is my point, Israel is in trouble, having a hardship they humanly can not fix on their own or with their own hands and they grumbling to Moses about it. I have been working to physically get to where I can go to work again, because of cancer and heart problems a few years back. God in his wisdom has provided even when the finances were not there, or provision by government was not there. I lived off one month on 12 dollars once. Most people say no way. Yep my bills got behind a month. However there is point I am making, my freezer was stocked and my shelf were stock and we had flour. As long as there flour there is bread. Israel did not have bread and so God provided. Then they got tired of bread and God provided meat. Quail was in the camp to feed the hungry people. People began to prepare these birds for a feast. It was huge flock of birds that came from the sky. Only God could provide a meal like that in the mist of time of need.
Something is always missing from this story, the Spirit of God came upon Israel at the time of their need and they began to prophesy in Tabernacle seventy elders and two outside the Tabernacle in the camp, and then God sent the quail. He made sure the people knew who gave them the meat, it did not come from the wind, but from God.
Faith is hard to understand, but when God moves in his people the blessings of God flows freely and is given to all. I know several churches that been feeding the hungry and God's provision has been good, because it kept the poor and hardworking people feed even when they thought they would run out. We have to see God's supply in not only areas around our towns, cities, and countrysides, we got to see God's handiwork in the mist of the storms flowing in the lives of the people of world.
Be happy for the biscuit and the gravy, because when things are thin, food supply is still there. Keep praying church, keep praying because every Christian has been watching the move of God in our world. I do not think I am the only one with a move of God in my life. I do not think I am the only one typing. I do think there is a move of God's Spirit on his people. And we just got to hang on tight. Because we know what God is able to do in the lives of his people.
Dear Heavenly Father, keep your Spirit moving in the lives of your people, so when the bread gets old and the meat fails, your provision blesses the soul and stomach of your people. That your people called by your name will not humble themselves before you, but the revival spirit will keep on spreading like fire that can not be quenched because it by your power and might. In Jesus precious name, Amen.

22 And he said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on.
23 The life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment.
24 Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feedeth them: how much more are ye better than the fowls?
