Hebrews 1:1-14 KJV
1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;
3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;
4 Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.
5 For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?
6 And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.
7 And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.
8 But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.
9 Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.
10 And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands:
11 They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment;
12 And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail.
13 But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool?
14 Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?

This morning the subject is still about loving God. However the question comes at what price of suffering do we still love God back. Seems like odd question, but it is a question for each of us to answer if we worship God and adore him, and yet we still see his Father of wrath, allowance of our own suffering that we have to come to a place this is okay and how does one arrive at it? There is a song called Rescue the Perishing. And the words go "rescue the perish, care for the dying, Jesus is merciful, Jesus will save" and so forth was written by Fanny Mae Cosby. Fanny Mae was a blind song writer. She wrote many great hymns after receiving Christ as her personal Savior. Faith is not just for the weak or the disabled but it is for all of us that have no power to save ourselves, which in truth no one before God can save themselves. God in his wisdom provide salvation first through his word and then through physical in the flesh his Son through his death and resurrection.

Jesus in verse 9 of Hebrews 1 loved righteousness and hated iniquity. The way punishment of sin is suppose to work, is to make you not want to do it ever again. Yet many criminals love sin more then they respect correction or desire to change their ways because of their actions. They want the benefits of piracy, yet they do want the consequences of piracy. Devil will steal your love for God quick if you allow him too. Man must first realize God gives free will to choose, and then the free will of each consequences. If you choose righteousness over piracy you then you will have reward for eternity, you choose piracy your coinsequences of destruction is real. Ever watch the movie Hook a take off from Peter Pan. Captain Hook desires the children only because he wanted to steal them from his arch enemy Peter Pan who chose to grow up and have them. Only til Peter Pan goes back to his childhood memories is he able to gain his children back. He had to remember first his position as a father as the adult he was, and then the need of his children to have him spend time with them. It was the time Captain Hook was having with Peter's children that Peter was envying. Yet Peter did not want his children to think they could win everytime, but they were to work to achieve their own victorious life, yet he would be their victor and savior until that day arrived.

God does several things for man, he sent prophets to share his word, why because man would not listen to him. Then He sent his own son in the express image of himself, in the form of simple man to redeem us to himself. His own Son like the prophets teaching by God's word because Jesus was the word of God. Salvation to all that believe in him and obeyed the saving words of all spoken. It like the choice to do good or to do evil, but righteousness through faith in God was first required. Meaning there were those that seen the prophetic words of healthy living was good without faith in God. It like telling someone that fruit on a vine is good to eat and one eats it knowing it will not harm them unless allergic. Makes sense to eat of it instead of the fruit that Adam and Eve ate of that brought them correction and death(separation from God). Did Adam and Eve ever get saved? Their children did make sacrifice and did worship God.

Hebrew 1 paints of a picture of Jesus having victory even through his death and resurrection that can not be denied. Why does humanity have to die, to be redeemed, to have free choice of living for Jesus or not. Can you believe in Jesus without believing in a gracious heavenly Father(God of all creation)? What does faith do that no faith can not. It gives us confidence that God does not wish evil upon us, or desire us to be condemned to destruction. God wanted to give man a chance to desire to live for him, to obey him, not because of wrath coming, but because we recognize our enability to know what good for ourselves, and to obey God because our own way leads to destruction. Children love all the candy a pirate will give them, but it will lead to destruction of either a diabetic coma or upset stomach. Feed on the word of God you know about the road of destruction with direction to the golden road of endless life with Christ Jesus.

Now back to Hebrews 1, Jesus raised back up and given a body of endless life, teaches forty days and then he goes and sits at the righthand of the Father. Christ sceptra established as being the word of endless life. His position never changing in his relationship to God the Father. Angels of heaven worship him, for he was made lower then them, for a time, only to arise and sit back in full position sitting on the throne of God. Those same angels not cast out because of their own obedience to the word of God, when Satan and his angels were cast out of heaven to earth. They will be cast out of the earth one day too. Yet even so the remaining angels in heaven were messenger for God and his Word. They were ministering spirits. With that angels had made their choice, like we must too,on who will we obey? Our position as a believer not as arch angels but as Christ's Bride the church.

Now can you love God knowing the warnings of destruction not have to lead to destruction, but can lead you to endless life with Christ Jesus. His warnings is to keep your from the Pirate Satan, who only desire to kill and destroy you. God's correction, and word coming with a choice of obedience or face the consequences for your actions that are against God.

Dear Heavenly Father through Christ obedience we can see hope, through faith we see our obedience pleases God, and we see a life of beauty to come both here in our presents and in our world to come because of our faith and action. Even Jeremiah faith and obedience in troublesome time lead to exile not of torment but peace in the enemies territory. Lord give your children of obedience hope and faith, and contentment that you love them. It is their choice to love you back. Lord I love you, In Jesus precious name, Amen.
