Genesis 49:8-12 KJV
8 Judah, thou art he whom thy brethren shall praise: thy hand shall be in the neck of thine enemies; thy father's children shall bow down before thee.
9 Judah is a lion's whelp: from the prey, my son, thou art gone up: he stooped down, he couched as a lion, and as an old lion; who shall rouse him up?
10 The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be.
11 Binding his foal unto the vine, and his ass's colt unto the choice vine; he washed his garments in wine, and his clothes in the blood of grapes:
12 His eyes shall be red with wine, and his teeth white with milk.

Shiloh another name for the Messiah defined in Strong's Hebrew Dictionary, "He who it is,that which belongs to him, Tranquility". Tranquility "a place of rest", Shiloh in another Strong's Hebrew Dictionary for another meaning in regards to where the Ark Of the Covenant and Tabernacle were kept at the time of early entry into the Promise Land and home of Samuel. One of the first prophesy is concerning Shiloh, the lion's whelp(Judah) ,given by Judah Father upon his death bed. "The Scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come and unto him shall the gathering of the people be".

Saul was the king of Judah, David from the tribe of Benjamin and the tribe of Judah, and we know that Jesus was of the line of King David. Now all this genealogy seems to be laid by the wayside when it comes to some people because it makes no difference to them who in power and who in control, nor do they care of who is leader in Israel today. There two lawgivers, the law of God and the law of man. Jesus explains the law man in away only the cross of Calvary could do with the law of God. Lawgiver of man being explained as Christ went to the cross and died for our sins against God, against crucifying the only begotten Son of God and not throwing out the money changers but Christ invoking the power in the temple of his earthly duty in the house of God. In Shiloh as piece of land we see the Ark of The covenant and Tabernacle resting in a place of safety and it it would even be stolen a time or too from its resting spot. David would bring the Ark of the Covenant not from Shiloh but another place of it resting in Israel to Jerusalem and King Solomon would build a house for it. The importance of the tranquility of the Ark of the Covenant was based on the value of God in the life of Israelites. Not all feared God over the years but those that did never see the Holies of Holies but perhaps the Ark of the Covenant that was carried in the streets of Israel during times of feasting and celebration to God. The image of tranquility being a place of rest and peace. When Shiloh would come meaning peace, and rest it would be the time of the Messiah coming. Even with rest there was turmoil in the land of Israel as Rome was in power and Herod would try and kill the Messiah. Yet God would protect the Messiah and leave Rachel weeping for her children. Meaning the women of Bethelehem, because Herod would have all first born up to age two killed in the land of the Messiah birthplace looking for him. How to keep you children safe follow the prophesy and the time period. Would be a good clue.

This would be the earliest known prophesy to the children of Jacob(Isaac and Abraham). It is important because of heritage of the prophesy was fullfilled at the time of Christ. He would be the last king of Judah and the first king of the new covenant. The covenant of peace and tranquility. And tranquility yet to come to believer beyond their heart. Peace comes to our hearts when we receive Christ as Lord and Savior. When we receive the hope of eternal life, we are no longer in turmoil of what lays ahead in our life, for we know the road of our cross leads home to a place of complete and ever rest with Christ our Savior and God the Father, if we walk by God's Spirit in humble faith.

One night as I laid in bed, the words of the hymn called "The Way Of The Cross Leads Home", the point being I do not remember singing it and it was sung the very next Sunday in church and it puzzled me, because I did not remember hymn being sung by me other then in my dream. I realize it must of been old memory God was reminding me of, because he was telling me to just keep following Jesus despite what else went on around me. I am no different then Peter in regards to the walking on water story, of seeing the storm and about to sink, but learning to keep focus on Christ leads me forward in faith to walk in faith, even when I fail and fall. What I am I saying there is only a peace that Jesus can bring if we follow in his foot steps. Sometimes the things God brings to our remembers will carry us into the storms of faith and through the valley into the next mountaintop experience.

Prophesy carried Israel for years into the New Testament for those that believed received the message of Jesus gladly and with knowledge of Christ being the Messiah though some would nail Christ to the cross, God demonstrated to the heart of the believer the ability to forgive the error of blindness, that he allowed in the lives of each and every born in faith Israelite or gentile. If you want peace today receive Christ as your Savior, trust in him fully, knowing the Holy Spirit will mark you as one of his kids, and lead you in the path of faith, even when you walking on thin ice and about to slide across it on your knees. Be glad when he brings you to your knees on ice because it thinness one might of broken into the cold water for him to have to lift you up once more. The journey of prophesy must be weighted as part of faith. 13 But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.
14 For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;
15 While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.
16 For some, when they had heard, did provoke: howbeit not all that came out of Egypt by Moses.
17 But with whom was he grieved forty years? was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness?
18 And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not?
19 So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.
