Psalm 1:1-6 KJV
1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
4 The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.
5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
6 For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

"Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it"(Proverbs 22:6). If you are old enough you seen a few children grow up and it amazing that even some of the mean ones turn out fine. It is the children from childhood into adulthood being mean and nasty is all they were taught by evil parents. Then you got children that obey godly parents and rebell from everything there parents taught, only to one day turn into the responsible adult they should be. Does faith make a difference in our fruitfulness. Often it does. However people who have children that are good and caring come from people not always of faith. The right society, that deems certain social behaviors are correct no matter what can be wolves in regards to ones faith. They act like believers, produce fruit of love, goodness and mercy. Yet they believe not. Behavior is learned from adults and sometimes behavior is act of rebellion. Good parents does not always mean good fruit in their children. Faith in God can and will always determine these things as well through eternity.

The rebellion attribute, maybe instagated by bad behavior of another that gets by with it all the time. It attitude that is define by person temperment. It is that attitude that defines one's thinking. Movies influence it, tv influence it, radio, friends, neighbors, strangers, and most of all family. Yet when God is thrown into the mix something changes. The Holy Spirit power to warn a person against evil, whether they heed God as a believer or not.

Cain was warned by God after he offer a bad sacrifice to God, and was meditating on killing his brother. It the meditation act that causes sin to be more then accident. Psalms 1 talks about the blessed man that does not walk in the counsel of the ungodly. Yet in Romans 2 we know that man can walk in godly counsel or laws and obey them, without being a person of faith. The complex of "she is just as good as me, so why do I need to believe in God".

Believers we need to wake up, first not only about our actions, but what as a believer makes us different. It not about our fruitfulness whether rich or poor, but about how God enables us to achieve, makes our life better, and of course the fruit whether in large volume or a small volume produces fruit of God, and not always fruit of the law of man. Law of man might not be much different then the law of God at times, and it produce the same type of things, but it is missing the key element God(Father, Son and HOly Spirit).

What do believers produce is something unique, it is God's grace, joy, peace by the Holy Spirit. It not learned over night. Sometimes the worlds attitude is "I just do not care, so it does not bother me". God's people care that why faith hurts. It not faith that hurts, but it the action from others that hurt. That is the backside of faith. What I mean is you can be good and evil attacks because they understand what this goodness, love and mercy from you is all about. These things must not be the things that causes you to stumble, but they will.

We are called to be righteous and because of righteousness(faith) we are blessed as God's children, rich or poor, it matters not. Our action must demonstrate faith to the world. No one gets this right all the time. I wish I did get this part right all the time. Sometimes we blow off steam because of humanity. However to strive to live in holiness and faith by the will of God takes us following in Christ example. Did not Christ call Pharisees vipers. What did you call those evil people last week.

We know as believers we are blessed by God, but we must strive to walk in holiness God calls us to and to meditate on his word, and walk by his Spirit. Christ our redeemer covers that attitude of sin, but it can not remain in our life. That sin attitude does take skill and sometimes years of practice to destroy it completely, though Christ destroyed with the cross. Some might say where is faith. It still intact, our frustration, our attitude is not where it should be at times. Can we pray about the situation. Can we walk in faith because our tree is planted in the right location beside a river of faith, all flowing in the right direction. People watch people grow and change. What they see is a tree growing with fruit that it finally produced, whether they understand that fruit is the gifts of God coming forth to shade even the heathens, but the heathens will not even be able to remain under the covering for sin and unrighteousness(no faith) leads to destruction.

Train a child right, he is right? No he not right unless you teach him about faith in God. without faith he knows not God's compassion or forgiveness. He does not know the difference between God's way and the imitation of faith. I be honest, being poor means you might eat more imitation products then the real deal. Some imitation taste real good and other taste real bad. Yet to know the real God and Savior(Christ Jesus) there is no substitute and the imitation is clear. Don't be fooled by the devil, be sold on value of faith in Christ Jesus, for you will be blessed and he will establish you and keep you in all righteousness of faith. You will produce fruit of the Holy Spirit in due season. Be patient, for God not done with you yet. God knows the way of his people and they going in the direction of heaven. There branches lifted to the sky, while birds only can land in the trees he produces.

Dear Heavenly Father, great is your faithfulness to your people of righteousness. Help us to produce fruits of faith and not of the devil. In Jesus precious name, Amen.
