| Are You One Of Those People by Christina Farris 12/3/2021 Who has not spent hours as a child of hoping for what will be under the tree. Hoping for something they seen in a catalog. Sitting on a pew in the church, because Christmas is on Sunday, wanting only to go back and play with whatever was under the tree. Yet the most meaniful Christmases growing up is when my family had opportunity to help someone that did not have a nice tree, much less gifts under it. Yet when we left the house with a bare tree, I knew the gifts left would be loved, the food in the bag would be enjoyed, and the kids with a bare tree would soon have ornaments provide by those that took the gifts. Yes there are people that love helping others have a beautiful Christmas, are you one of those people. May You Have a Merry Christmas! Management Christina Farris |
| Christmas Passage Of Christ Birth by Christina Farris 12/02/2021  Luke 2:1-18 KJV (1)And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus, that all the world should be taxed. (2) (And this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria.) (3) And all went to be taxed, every one into his own city. (4) And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:) (5) To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child. (6) And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered. (7) And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn. (8) And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. Christmas Joy by Christina Farris 12/2/2021 Is Christmas joy a myth or is it possible to celebrate in the middle of missing loved ones. It not a myth, but one's mineset has to be such that your only concentrating on the real reason for the season that is Jesus. Joy is found in the true reason, but it okay to shed a tear. It is okay to miss someone that is dear. The joy of Christmas is not the happiness of love ones, but it sure does help. It is about Jesus and the joy the fills your heart because you have faith in him. Every Christmas is different and some a little harder then others. the memories of love ones even a call away, or down the road, or over the hil, is often what help make beautiful memories. Those memories are to be treasured, not forgotten, but it is not what makes a believers Christmas joyful. I have had Christmases where i did not put up a tree, or even decorated the house. Yet by the time Christmas day got there, the true reason for the celebration came through and through. Treasure the memories, hold them tight, but let your joy be in the Lord Christmas Eve night. Let your joy be in the celebration that Christ the King has come to save the world from their sins, for all that would believe. |
